Sir, as I understand, flame stability is a major concern; sir, is it possible to carry oxygen in the flight, carry combustion in a combustor off the mainstream and release the hot gases into the mainstream

yes, MI-scramjets are capable of carrying oxidizer within it and can fly in any atmosphere. These are medium independent scramjets engines.
