Hi, Today we are looking at an awesome J-arm for NVG devices that are fitted with a mini rail. No longer should you suffer if you rock an NVG from flir or similar and put up with the not so good common '172' mount. This J-arm is built to the highest standard, US made and allows perfect and precise mounting of the NVG to a mount, so that you can enjoy whatever you are doing, wherever you are. This is a j arm with dovetail to mini rail mounting.

soz no links, but just search for mod armoury. it's the mini rail to dovetail kind. maybe search for flir breach or mum14? other companies like noisefighters sell nvg arms also like their panobridge that's go both kinds. some cool tech

Hi! Do you use a real wilcox g24, or a fake? And if fake, which brand is it?

Hi only genuine. Although I've seem some good copies. The issue is spec of the dovetail and movement in the mount. Real are rock solid and work great with mod armoury. If I'm running and wearing a nod I know these mounts won't drop it which will be very expensive . So I'd rather pay for a good mount then spend 5k on a new pvs14 and tube etc. Always have a lanyard, paracord is solid and cheap.

@@AlphaPews Ah okay, thanks for the reply. I'm currently in a posistion where im trying to find a good mounting solution for the armasight sirius. The Mod armory jarm looks to be a really good option, but getting a real g24 together with the jarm is extremely expensive. As you said, there are some great g24 copies out there, but it's hard to be 100 % sure that it will fit both the helmet and the j-arm.

The mod arm is likely. The most flexible for the mini rail mount. At least if you get a clone mount you can file it with a dremmel, so that you don't ruin the nice mod arm or the nod. If your planning to run nods for a long time, it's worth the cost. If you upgrade your nod the mount will last a very long time

Hey I have the same wilcox mount and modarmory hook up and can't get mine to click into the mount did you have to sand yours at all? Or did it go right in? Im so pissed don't want to fuck it up. Thanks

Hi Chris, no sanding it just fit spot on first time. Something sounds wrong. Try and see where the catch is missing. I've heard reports that clone or Airsoft versions of mounts not fitting due to poor QC. Mounting nvg is tricky as not all mounts,unless genuine, are made the same. So does the dovetail slide in nicely? E.g if you hold down the release button on the L4g24. Wilcox might provide a service to clean and check your mount. Where are you located?

You will need to check what the normal mounting is for the Vega. Does it have the mini rail?

Looking at the pictures online it's got a mini rail, but if I were you I would check to see if they are the same spec. Dimension wise- hope this helps

Looks like it's going to be unstable... thin and has nylon pins holding the joints together... Edit... might be wrong... will be getting 1 to try out... I don't like the 1 that came with my rig

It's the opposite, it's super strong. The material is delrin. It's bombproof stuff. The average nod is 300-500g so this is easily strong enough. Mod armoury have an excellent reputation in the night vision world.

@@AlphaPews Possiblity. I purchased the Wilcox adapter plate. It lines the Odin up but puts it at a slight angle so the square screen is almost a diamond and the HUD is as well.
