Supplies:
#8 2" stainless steel bolt and nut (purchased from Lowe's)
20min Loctite epoxy and super glue (purchased from Lowe's)
K26 spring www.mcmaster.c... you want a little less spring force or cannot get a K 26 go with a Home Depot spring)
Brass (purchase from Ace Hardware)
Polycarbonate (purchased from Lowe's)

You should try this new super glue I use called: Rapid Fuse By DAP Once it all hard it's like as if your adding on solid plastic

Is the plunger tube the same size as a big shock's plunger tube?

Bigger plus it can be expanded by moving it forward as I did in the video.

Why would you cut the plunger tube to remove dead space? What does that do and why?

It gives the air a little bit less space to compress, making it exit the barrel at a higher velocity

So I made it you're way... Firing with mega darts 38m first try... Buyed a spring from blaster shop for the cyclone and double springed it... The little spring on the top was not strong enough so I took the spring from the trigger which is the same and double spring also... For the trigger I used a spring from a pen and it's good... Work very well everything... And yeah it hurts a little bit more 😂😂

these are on sale at big lots, 10 bucks, buy 2 get the 3rd one free. in your opinion, are these worth it? they look like they gave tremendous potential, but I can find nitefinders at the thrift shop for 1 to 2 dollars and can get the same performance. Anyways, the video is an awesome tutorial, thanks for posting!

I think this is a great blaster if you want to mod it. Very similar to a night finder potential wise but the AR removal is so easy with the hotshock no tools required.

this is unnecessary. just take a tiny piece of PVC and wrap it in electrical tape to fit. push it all the way through and that will make the AR obsolete. This way you can shoot rival HIRs. If you wanna shoot elite darts. make the PVC longer when cutting and make sure it is the RIGHT SIZE! BOOM no saw, sanding, or taking apart the blaster
