One of the tricks I do for a blaster with a lot of screws is to draw a rough out line of the blaster on a piece of cardboard. Then I just punch the screws out into it were they go.

Yes I would recommend doing that for this blaster. I do that sometimes also but I thought since I was videotaping myself I could remember without doing so. Little did I know how many different size screws that were in this thing.

Thought I'd let you know that I bought a dead Mastodon not so long ago, just finished a complete rewire, new switches etc and putting it back together for the moment with D cells. Works great now, thanks to your videos.

you could add soldering wick to your tool kit, for whn you desolder sensitive stuff like those little boards that go on top of the motors

One of the problems with all these Nerf mod tutorials is there is no clear stated goal in the beginning. "I'm gonna mod this thing" but no "these are the deficiencies I am trying to correct and here's how I did it." You put in a micro switch for the motor- why? What were you improving? Response time? Power?

Seriously, such an informative video with no clear direction kind of is silly. Obviously upgrading things and adding lipo but why it should be done in the first place is mystery. Maybe you have to own one to know lol

Can you fix my mastodon ? I put new batteries in and it won't turn on. I think ether the jam door switch is bad or trigger switch. I'm not good with wiring.

are there any other ways to remove the handle, mine broke and i need a new one but i have to take it out first

That is a sling not a bandolier. A bandolier would be a device that holds extra ammo.

Yes. More so FPS than rate of fire but both are increased.
