I saw Devon Bumpkin say if there was one build mod to get, get this one. So I've been going over documentation and carefully watching videos to install and use the mod. I just want to say, thank you so incredibly much for your hard work in creating these videos and supporting the Sims community. Usually as a beginner things can feel overwhelming, but I adore how clear everything is even down to the files labeled "just install this" or "if you can see this you're doing it wrong". Seriously, it's thoughtful and appreciated for those like me who get nervous about messing things up somehow. You're awesome.

i'm sorry but i was laughing so hard bc i didn't read the installation notes like a silly goose and i just opened the folder and dragged the package and the t4script into a subfolder in my mods and it wasn't working so i reopened the file and saw "IF YOU SEE THIS WHILE INSTALLING YOURE DOING IT WRONG" and started cracking up

when i download it and go into the game, it messes up the camera options in the top right and when i go in build mode and look at furtnite, windows, doors, etc it shows the wrong icons

Hello, i have followed the steps in the video, and checked that i downloaded the most recent update of the mod and this resulted in all the icons in the build buy menu in the bottom left corner to be shuffled around. I have no other mods downloaded. Has this occurred to anyone else? If so how can i fix this?

I didn't see this on the download page, but, at least as of May 5, 2023, King Zace's 15 Clubs Per Sim mod keeps the light editor from working in BBB. Just an FYI for anybody who might be having trouble and has KZ's mod in.

I added the file to my mods folder as I have always done. But sometimes it says that the file is too deep, also the picture where you pic walls, floors in build mod etc is messed up. I have no idea what I am doing wrong.

Filters stay set once you turn them on. If they're resetting it's because you have a conflicting mod in

Hope you still see this comment. But I love your mod. And wanted to ask if you could add one more option. When you have the eco lifestyle pack, some objects are eco friendly and some others are labeld industrial. Ofc I can use the filter so it only shows stuff from the pack. BUT a lot of base game sims 4 items are also labeld when you have the eco pack. And I thought some items from other packs also get those labels (like fireplaces are always labeld industrial). So I would love to get a filter that gives you the option to only show the eco friendly stuff or the industrial stuff. Cause now you have to look at the item description of every item to find out if it's ecofriendly or not. (Same with floortiles and wallpaper). Such a pain in the butt when you create a Sim that's eco friendly. Or a mean/evil Sim and you imagine them to destroy the world and the eco system with it because they simply don't care! Also, some items have a kind of bonus. Idk what to call it, cause english is not my first language. But some items give like a +1 or +2 prestige bonus to the lot. Floortiles and wallpaper included. It would be so awesome to have a filter that only shows those items (or shows all special items, like some floors burn more easily for example). I have searched everywhere to find a mod that has those kind of filters, but couldn't find anything like it. Hopefully you read this and I hope you could consider upgrading this mod or making a different mod. ❤😊

Hi, I know this isn't the right platform for this, but I'm not a patron so I can't comment on Patreon. I redownloaded this mod today and was looking for some live edit items: 'Sims Sessions Crafts & Creations Table' and the base game tents that don't have a proper name. I couldn't find them anywhere. Do you have any idea what could have happened to them? I used to use them all the time before I uninstalled all my mods a few months ago.

I downloaded the BBB mod yesterday, and even though I turned on Organized Debug, MoveObjects, CC, Live Edit and debug in filters. I can’t use the Tools mod. Everything else works. I have pressed shift + T in so many ways but can’t get the Tools mod to work. Am I doing something wrong, pressing the wrong buttons or need to download something more? :(

Since your BBB is updated to V.10 do I still have to download that folder or is it already included in BBB. Can't access the liveedit objects. For instance, there are no vehicles in the transportation menu, but when I type in "vehicle" the log suggests all of them as if they exist. Nothing exists under the liveedit option when I click it. I keep searching for the bike rack and for certain large rocks but they are nowhere. Debug option is working just fine. I have everything enabled the way you've suggested. I've tried clicking the discord link in your pinned comment but it says "invite invalid". This is my first time trying this mod and so far, besides this hiccup, it is amazing! Thank you!!

Greetings TwistedMexi I have found 1 incompatibility issue with BETTER BUILD/BUY and VictorAndrade's DIRECT CONTROL Mod, and to that I wanted to give a suggestion. IDK if you're aware of it already but it has to do with the CAMERA CONTROL with the WASD keys. VictorAndrade has a toggle to activate his mod via F1 or you can use the Pie Menu. I was wondering if you could UPDATE Better Build/Buy to have a toggle for the WASD key Camera Control. Maybe leave it for Build/Buy Mode, as I have noticed it works during Live Mode. Or maybe eliminate the WASD and just use the ARROW keys for Camera Control, up to your discretion. I have no other WASD overriding mods and when I uninstall this mod, the game allows me to use the DIRECT CONTROL Mod with no issues, but I and others I'm sure, wanna use both mods lol. Using CURSEFORGE Mod Manager for both mods. On a great note, LOVE YOUR MODS and currently looking into your Create a World Mod XD Thanks for your time and consideration.

Ik this is an old video but I have a small issue I can’t figure out how to fix. So whenever I favorite build buy items in build mode, they get marked as favorites perfectly fine, BUT when I exit my game and get back on the next day or whatever, all my favorites are unmarked (even tho I save constantly). Is there a fix to this, or am I just doing something wrong? lol I rly hope you see this😭

Im so confused why mine doesn't work... it's not even a complicated install- just DRAG THE FOLDER?? I do that- i drag it there- i do nothing else but dragging the folder into the mods folder and when i open the game it pops up telling me I've done it wrong 😩 download- open zip file- drag file into mods... If you're searching or using eyedropper it's ignored by design as otherwise it would look like no results were found.

Nice mod! But i've one question.. How can I categorize the 'normal' items? For example when i am looking for a bath and i'am clicking on 'baths' in the bathroom i get all debug and live items... Like everything, all the cars, plants etc. But not the normal items so i can't find the baths anymore.. Same as the showers, fridges and a lot of other catogories... Idk whats going wrong and how i can fix this?

Unfortunately that's just how debug objects work, their states reset when placed. I've tried forcing states before but so far no luck.

guys, I'm having troubles with the mod. when I click the filter to activate live edit doesn't show any objects. I deleted the mod and reinstalled several times and it still not working. i'm so sad and frustrated :( can someone help me?

You have to turn the live edit filter on in the filter panel to the right, under content

@@marianynobre7593 So on the _right_ side of your screen you have the organized debug, debug, and liveedit bubbles visible in your active filters? If so and liveedit is still empty, you either have CC overrides of the liveedit objects, or you need to resync the mod. To resync, turn organized debug off, restart game, turn organized debug on, restart again, you should be good then.

Following this tutorial and I can see what you did. I placed the folder as you told / showed and yet it tells me that scripts are on but I either placed it too deep or I modified it. Neither fits my situation and in the end I had to take it out, won't work the latest update and with v3.2.7. I give up! 😭
