sorry you made a mistake. you CAN kill the Wither with Draconic evolution even if it's the first wither of the map. the grinder does not require a star! only requires a core which is 4 draconic ingots, 4 gold ingots and a diamond. the recipe for the grinder itself is also really cheap, the core + 1 draconic ingot, 1 vanilla furnace, 2 diamond swords and 4 iron. for a block that instakills the wither.. edit: also it requires a really small amount of power to do so, and the generator is also really cheap (and generates quite a lot of power from a coal, but it burns it quickly)

I have a feeling that it will be nerfed in the future, or at least they should add some kind of a mechanic that will prevent the mob grinder from killing the wither unless an upgrade of some sort that requires a wither is applied.

Just wanted to point out, you can make a mob grinder from DE that will 1-shot the wither when he spawns in, no need to actually fight it. The mob grinder requires very little resources to gather so it is a great alternative to actually fighting the wither boss for nether stars.

No. There is a special dragon added with draconic evolution called chaos guardian that only way to not get instakilled is draconic armor (the awakened set) there was a mod with extremely OP armor called equivalent exchange 2, where it was almost creative mod, but it hasn't been updated to the version where draconic evolution had been implemented ☺️

Really there is an "end game" section of Minecraft. It is when you are fully established, you have loads of resources and pretty much nothing can kill you. That is why I love Botania so much, it really extands the end game section when you have to deal with Guardians and the like.

As I done in 1.7.10(not new version), it did nullified every bad effect including the wither. I had to use the at least Big reactor.

draconic helm blocked every negetive effect (in 1.7.10)even modded ones including warp effects .In hindsight big reactors is one of the main reasons draconic was so op (another reason was its self)

so, I ran into a witch and got hit by her potion and I got hit by the effect, my health bar turned green but I got no damage. So I guess it works like any other damage, it nullifies it and raises the red bar while nullifying it

Shame the Gaia Guardian can only take some much damage. So weapons like the Staff of Power and Big Bertha weapons won't be one-shotting it. Gotta love Vazkii's need for balance, huh. No sarcasm though. I really do like his checks and balances for his mod. Not overpowered, and not underdeveloped. Botania has come a long was. Especially in 1.10+

When you upgrade the armor/tools through the fusion crafting does it lose all upgrades you gave it? Ie. upgrade wyvern pick AoE 3 times, then upgrade the pick to draconic, do i still have the 3 AoE upgrades attached to it?

Yea, I love the spotlight... Will never try the mod out. Personally, if they'd just give us a config to adjust the damage and hp value of everything down to the shield or enemy's well then I'd consider it. The mod LOOKS awesome, but I don't want to invalidate everyone else on the server unless they use DE too...

Yes. He even says that in the vid. You do not need to keep the basic set, they can be crafted into the Wyvern set, then those can be crafted into the Draconic set. The draconic injectors will work for all tiers of crafting.

waitwait, drac evolution is nerfed? YEA BOIS no longer is it the main thing to get lots of power through any method (big reactors usually, via turbine + exploiting MFR boilers), go to the end with flight (jetpack or angel ring) and mine out a full inventory of dust, then just rinse and repeat with your new overpowered armour. also don't forget to use a hammer made of full ardite for early game instamine, you can't get a faster tool until you get awakened drac pickaxe.

here's the thing: full ardite gets 15 stonebound bonus, resulting in 23 mining speed without redstone. A few modifiers of redstone, while leaving enough for flux cap and luck, and a traveller's glove with 500 redstone on it will result in instamine in the style of EE2/dracevo/vajra. It's massively overpowered, and probably should be nerfed, but hey, it's fun.

Don't forget the Mekanism power systems which can produce / charge huge amount of the power. Also there are the reika's system. RotaryCraft, ElectricCraft(60TRF in one block) and ReactorCraft. Which takes weeks to work with though. And Gregtech Ultra voltage and so on. There are other OP-like mods which I did not mentioned. Minecraft is the game of the choice. I do not mind the OPness. I personally play Gregtech/Reika's mod with Draconic Revolution. Draconic Evolution is end contents and I'm curious what is nerfed. And I'm bit sad about it.

Decro Byron I usually go from earlygame to endgame with reika's mods when available, and only once I've done so do I bother with other mods simply because reika's is more fun. Then I see all these people going to endgame in a single day then boasting about it and destroying the market by dumping thousands of draconium into it.

Unless they are forcing you in your multiplayer server, it does not matter. If you do not play multiplayer server, nothing to worry about. Like DW20 said in his let's play game, how to play is up to everyone's choice. Unless it is the deal breaker for specific mod pack, no reason to nerf. I like the OP when it needed.

It's kind of sad that he got rid of the dragon summoning. The vanilla respawn mechanic is quite bad as it destroys all the stuff you've built in the area where the obsidian pillars are. So building a base in the end is much more annoying now - even in modded.

Well...you shouldn't really be building in the dragon arena anyway if you want to keep fighting it. But it is annoying that the dragon can destroy any vanilla block it flies through. Like, ideally you'd want to make a rail system to reach the terrain gen consistently. But if youre resummoning the dragon, it's inevitable that will get destroyed eventually. At the very least, rails should be immune to the dragon's destruction ability.

That's because he built his stuff outside of the dragon spawn area. I understand that Mojang was doing that to avoid us cheesing the dragon fight by building stuff there. But I would really like to build a base around the portal back from the end and that stuff would all get destroyed.

It's so annoying because the end portal is the one space where you'd actually build stuff in the end. Like an outpost base around the portal. If Draconic Evolution would have kept its own respawn mechanic, that would have enabled us to build stuff like that again at least in modded.
