shannon Allee go ahead and take the time, it is really quite interesting, seems /feels uncensored from YT in general and watch the ‘IMO am an addict”-no clue if that was the title, but u will know when you see it-but watch that first. Then watch the rest, it will put his situation into context, to understand that as great as he was, we was absolutely totally stoned out of his mind for every music video & every interview. Only difference I can see is that he feels a bit more shy, in a way, now, if that makes sense. He is still the same crazy dude absolutely Loving & LIVING life to the fullest. No clue how or why he came across joy ‘recommended’ list, so SOOOO happy I watched it! Have bought all his available music now. Enjoy the ride, I know I am ✌🏽♥️🙏 🤜🏼🤛🏼🤩👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Sobriety never helped anyone’s career because the drugs gave them the ability- and drugs take it away. You gotta work for years to have ability that will last- artists are notoriously lazy and undisciplined. It’s why they cheat with drugs and can’t stop themselves.

Mod, I’ve been following you since my younger years when I got introduced to you by following Meghan Hughes on KZbin. You did a pizza talk with her a long time ago. I fell in love with your music and your personality. I won’t lie, I always had this suspicion that some of the happiness you were portraying was not 100% authentic. When you decided to get clean and everything came to light I can’t tell you how proud I was and how much more I looked up to you. Everyone has their struggles and it was probably that much harder for you to have to be honest about everything. This has just made me love you even more. You’re so real and honest and thank you for that. It’s helped me with my own struggles.

idk how people can say this "he looks clean" shit. First, he does not look clean at all and I have seen people who look completely clean and sober and were using none stop and i myself can look squeeky clean and be high 100% of the time and no one would be able to tell the difference. its not hard to put yourself together and make the sobriety look presentable while high. You can get fairly high and easily pull off sober as long as you don't go over a certain threshhold or however you spell it.

To me, he was one of the coolest Warped performer's for many reasons like the feeling of just being at his show with all those other people who were all radiating so much love at once. I'll never forget hugging him in a most pit and getting covered in his sweat but being totally okay with it 😂 I feel like that, in and of itself, was real and wonderful. And I personally think that him not caring about others had a lot to do with the drugs; addiction has a funny way of contaminating people's humanity. But if anything, I think that him being sober is bringing out the best parts of him.

I've dabbled in substances to help me cope, but after watching the transition between both of mods no jumper interviews, imma try and steer clear of that typa bull shit. If I'm not taking drugs or drinking, music is my main form of coping. I make it and listen to it and it means everything to me. I got into mod suns music last year cuz of the song karma, and latley his music of hippy rap and pop punk has been there for me. So I'd like to thank mod sun for his amazing music and wish him nothing but the best for the future. Also for anyone reading this, keep ur head up, u can get thru any bullshit u are going thru. ❤

I've been going through a pretty overwhelming and destructive struggle lately and been trying so hard to find a way out and trying so hard to muster up the strength/courage to actually take the leap and start the process and I've been watching, listening, and reading a lot about Mod Sun and to his music and such and the energy he gives off is amazing and I feel a crazy connection with him and his art and listening to him be real and open has helped me understand the connection is probably due to the many similarities between his stories and my life. I've got a lot of respect for both of you and what you guys are doing. Your messages mean a lot more to random fans and people out here then you could possibly imagine. Thanks for being inspiring and helping to steer me away from giving up on myself. Much love guys!

Some shit also been hitting me hard as of late, slipping into states of escapism this is an eye opener. Also really appreciate the fact Adam slowed right down on the alcohol. full respect, shit started getting a little sloppy these days I feel you’re taking the podcast to a new level.

Seeing him and a few others like blackbear making it through to the other side of addiction makes me so sad that lil peep actually was taken by this horrible shit. The passion mod sun has with answering every question fully and honestly is just un-heard of in Hollywood. I have so many friends who’ve gone through rehab for coke or H and a 2 that have passed away and I’m only 19 man. I’ve never touched it and I hope I never do because I’ve seen the before and the middle and the after and it’s never good. Stick to tha flower🌿🍄🍁 Mod Suns video talking about his addictions made me cry but also have me so much faith for the future for him, me and my friends. Thank you so much.

This is something I needed to hear. Been diagnosed with depression and anxiety since I was 6, and suicidal thoughts since I was 9. I’ve tried therapist after therapist and none of them truly seemed to give a shit about what I was going through and just going through the motions. I was at my lowest point last year when I put a gun to my head for the second time. For some reason I knew I couldn’t pull the trigger. Now I’m getting the medicine I need and a therapist that talks to me like an actual human being and truly cares. He sends me texts at random ass times throughout the week, and it’s some of the best conversations I’ve ever had. Getting yourself help is never the wrong thing to do, and seeing this podcast and MOD’s video has been the impact I needed in my life to give me that push. If anyone takes the time to read this life story of mine, and is also suffering from mental health issues, it’s never too late to start helping yourself. ✌️❤️

I went down a wormhole of mod sun interviews today that started with Karma. Mod thank you for your time energy and being a person that lives to help others feel better. I'm trying to find a way out of the life I have. It's a wonderful life but I dont wanna be stuck working shit jobs for the rest of my life. My dream is to help others achieve theirs. I dont want money or fame I wanna help people be all they can be. You among many others inspire me to do that. Its terrifying not knowing where or how to start. I have the ideas the team the passion but just lost 2 great jobs trying to rebuild so I can afford to maintain my life being a father of the best 5 yr old ever made and using the money to create outlets for artists and lost people that feel like I do. We all feel so trapped struggling with no way out and for me personally I cant leave the town cuz i gotta leave my son. That being said I'm trying to start a brand clothing line recording studio youtubing movie production companies ect in erie Pennsylvania which is all shop jobs that pay the most. Theres alot of amazing people suffering doing that type of work feeling like that's all they will ever do with their lives. I'm trying to build ways out for them hoping that's my way out of feeling empty. Maybe you really will read this and reach out and help point me in the right direction. Maybe you wont but if you do see this know that you have done so much for this world along with your boy Colson. The world needs you 2 in endless ways so many other artists but this is your time and you both are shining bright enough to see from space. Thank you to anyone that takes the time to read this and doesnt hate on me for just typing what came to me and babbling like a mad man. All love to Adam and Mod for doing this

I was watching this yesterday and I couldn’t finish it so I paused it and save it to my watch later list. During that little break I actually got on my phone and recorded myself talking. Without hearing MOD SUN talk about recording yourself and posting online. I literally just wanted to voice how I felt in my drug addiction. I don’t think I’m ready to post it yet but for some reason it was so therapeutic for me. It is very weird how (the universe or whatever) is working in my life now. I still can’t believe he had said that in the video kind of crazy how the universe does work sometimes. I was literally going to comment and say that I recorded myself talking just to get it out there. Just have my spoken truth in my story in the world even if I’m the only one that sees it. And then you come on and say all the shit that I’ve been thinking for the most part. It is extremely heartwarming to see someone say something like that cus it’s those little reminders from the world telling me that I’m on the right track. And now this is me showing my appreciation to the universe and acknowledging it so it continues to happen in my life. I just needed to say all this. I’m like a whole ass week late from this posting but idgaf. It needed to be said. 🤖
