Mod Talk Ep4: 034Motorsport's TCU Tune Review on the Audi B9!

Finally my take on 034Motorsport's TCU tune. How have I been driving so long with out this tune! Here more about it in the video!

Epic video per usual however I would just like to address one small thing. You can run Stage 2 TCU tune with stage 1 ECU tune and that is what I'm currently doing now with my S5 B9 Sports back 93 file. The way I would describe the Stage 1 TCU tune is more of a patch as it allows extra torque to be utilised so the ECU and TCU work in sync. Stage 2 TCU tune significantly improves the speed of gear changes and you can definitely feel the difference. Tuning also activates AMAX shifting in more gears.

I switched from APR to 034 and it was night and day difference. 034 is the way.

great video and info ... I will be getting the 034 ECU/TCU .. contemplating between Stage 1 or 2 .. along with a larger cooler... have to find a good local place to install it for me.. looking back at the video,, seems those drivers are damn close to you... reminds me of Balt drivers !! L O L !!

Sorry haven't watched all the videos yet, but have you done the intercooler? Just to clarify, You currently have High flow catted down pipe, resonator delete and intake? Received my 034 cable and ready to install once car gets back from detailer. Really looking forward to this ECU - TCU combo. Thanks for the videos, you've really helped my as an Audi Noob on what path I'm taking on my 2022 S5. Hope you hit 1K subs soon, always nice to receive a little coin for your time!

@@StreetRyde Okay.... ECU & TCU Stage 1 93 octane installed and pulls so hard now! First launch managed a 3.74 0-60, (no other mods to the car). I've only launched this car twice now, once to get a base line and then after the tune. Tune cut 1.12 seconds off the 0-60 time. I'm sure with a bit more practice using this lunch control I'll be able to do better.

Kinda sucks that 034 does not have stage 2 TCU tune for 2021 b9.5.....i am running stage 2 ECU and stage 1 TCU 93 file....drives me nuts. I feel incomplete.

I have a catted downpipe. And no drown in comfort mode at all. And very little drone in dynamic S once the car shifts to 8th gear no drown at all

@@StreetRyde well… now I am kicking it around. Have you tried the changes they made to comfort mode? I remember reading their release where they said Stage 2 also impacts comfort mode shifting. Does it just make it feel more consistent and comfortable? My wife drives my car sometimes, so I don’t want it to feel like a race car in every mode. Thanks for your videos as always.

@@trentimus5700 I mention really quick in video. The comfort shifts and a little bit snappier but that's mostly when you are like 60% to 100% throttle. Under that it's not noticeable imo
