Hello. I use to be a preschool teacher I would read the stories of Franklin to my children. They loved those books. My daughter hides a Christmas pickel in their Christmas tree each year and my grandkids look for it until it is found. The pickle is smaller than the one you made but not as cute as yours. Thank you for sharing all your new makes. Have a great day.

Hi! I love the sweater you're crocheting. And I love your plushies. I made the turtle last week. Last month I made a strawberry cow (requested by my 11yo granddaughter) and I made the dragon for her younger sister. I've also made the unicorn and the head of the elephant. I'm using Bernat blanket Raspberry Ribbon variegated for the elephant.😅 I will be making the fawn soon. All of these are for my 5 granddaughters. Your turtle would totally look like Franklin with a red hat and ascot!! As for the lovey legs, I always add 2 extra rounds in the legs on the MMM lovey patterns so I can tie them! It just makes it so much easier! I’m thankful for your honest review on the Octo pattern. I will leave that one alone. I don’t want to struggle through a pattern. What did you think of the pattern?
@laurellecoppard79525 ай бұрын
I love watching what you make. I love the bernat blanket yarn but I did buy the furls Streamline metal crochet hook. I couldn’t use bernat without this hook. Totally worth the price. They just slide through the yarn. My hands still get a little sore but no way I could crochet for as long with a plastic hook. Also I agree with you regarding the octopus. I got the bundle with both sizes in the pattern and have made 4 large ones so far for my daughters. I have one to try and sell. They are a lot of work and for that reason I have not bothered with making the smaller one. It is the same amount of work as the large one! The legs are the same size and I figured what is the point because I have the same opinion as you. The legs look too big for the body. The bigger size looks better in my opinion. I also had problems finding stitches on the legs. I am bummed I didn’t see the Mamma made minis sale. I have the book but would love to make the dog and cat. Yours turned out adorable. 😊

@laurellecoppard79525 ай бұрын
@@KnottingHookCrochet Yes I purchased on sale as well and I think shipping was pretty reasonable to Australia. I got a smaller one but find when I use it with worsted weight I tend to catch my yarn a lot. I think I still like the clover amour for normal yarn. Maybe I just need to get used to the slightly different head on the hook. I have only been doing this a couple years.😊
