Probably the best video and approach on showing/explaining Modals. I always like the effort and details you put into your videos. They're to the point and leave no open questions (usually). But this time I have two questions. How would you change the code if you want to have more than 1 Modal (IDs not suitable for this). Second question: How would use implement an X instead of a button of close? Thanks in advance

Making a modal box in JS is much more easier than making a modal on CSS. You need more styles in CSS but in JS, you just need to add custom classList like .show and .hide classlist, and style it from display block to none, or vise versa.🥰

Sadly, after some 30 years, the W3C is still incapable of properly specifying decent standards for browser vendors. These things were UI elements since 1984. And still, we can’t just have decent HTML specs for basic common UI widgets. It shouldn’t be necessary to custom build so much styling and behavior. It should be simple.
