How's it goin, everybody? Hope you enjoyed or are enjoying the video. I just want to touch on KZbin's changes to their ad policy really quick and I'll make a community post about it was well. If you don't already know, starting this month (November 2023) KZbin has removed a lot of advertisement controls from content creators. That means there are guaranteed to be ads that play before and after our videos and we have ZERO control whatsoever as to whether they are skippable or nonskippable ads. I am not a fan of this change as I promised over a year ago to never have nonskippable ads on my videos. The only control we maintain if we want our videos to be monetized is in the form of mid-roll ads (ads that play during the video.) We can still choose how many mid-roll ads there are, but I am unsure if we can decide whether or not those mid-roll ads will be skippable as I have opted to turn them off entirely as a compromise to these changes in the ad controls. I hope these changes made by KZbin do not ruin the experience and enjoyment any of you get from watching my videos, but I understand if it does. No one likes ads. Especially ones you can't skip. here's a good tip use suppressors if you can because if you don't use them literally every enemy in a 100 metre radius swarms you and if you use a suppressor that wont happen and you can pick them off easily

Yeah. You have a holster on your right shoulder for a primary and the vanilla backpack has a slot for an additional primary.

I installed the mod. That's it. It replaces the base game backpack. Make sure you extracted the mod before installing it. (If you're playing the Quest version of ITR, no mods work for that.)

how do you get the game to look so crisp man, whenever i play it either lags like hell if im on high res, or low res it just looks.. frankly like a 90s camera.

So ITR has some well known performance problems in general. It lags all the time for me as well. One thing I've noticed being either hit or miss is disabling windows game mode. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. I usually run the game at 90hz with in game resolution set to 100%. I also disable anti aliasing, screen space reflections, fixed foveated rendering, and variable rate shading. FFR might actually help for regular gameplay, I just disable it for recording purposes. Setting the shadows to low may also help with performance cause shadows always be eating up performance.

It's a mod called FreeCam. It's a bit buggy, but it works.

No mods are. The standalone vr version of Into The Radius is completely unmoddable. The pcvr version has very limited modding support (basically just stuff like item reskins, and gameplay tweaks.) Full mod support is one of the things being worked on for ITR2 as well as Co-op.

Nope. ITR for pcvr doesn't have full mod support and the quest version of the game doesn't support mods at all. Full mod support is being worked on for ITR2 though (from what I hear,) as well as co-op.

Nope. ITR is designed as a single player experience and because the game doesn't have full mod support, a mod like that just isn't possible. Maybe ITR2 will have some kind of co-op. For now, Ghosts of Tabor would be the game to look at for that kind of gameplay.

Scavenger is cool .... but like .... defeats the economy. I guess if you are end game. Though I'd just spend all my money on worthless stuff to reset my money to relive the loot gain. Suppose if you HAVE everything, it doesn't matter

But the enemies are so dull.... Also the setting is nice, but they don't do anything with it! All the "anomalies" are not mysterious, they are just hurt me boxes.

Admittedly, the enemies of the Pechorsk Exclusion Zone are not much of a threat, especially when encountered at a distance, in the open, and on the first two maps. You get a small taste of real difficulty when you go to the building with the crane in Bolotky Village, encountering mimic commandos with automatic weaponry in a confined space where you can also be swarmed by spawns, fragments, phantoms, seekers, and mimic cops if you're not paying enough attention to your surroundings. Things ramp up again after reaching the Pobeda Factory area where all entities (with the exception of spawns) may be equipped with armor and so weapon choice and ammo load becomes a real factor. Kolhkaz Zarya is similar to Pobeda in terms of entity difficulty, but there's more of em and also Sliders have a nasty habit of sneaking up when you least expect them. As for the anomalies. Yeah, the longer you play, the more you get used to them and how they work, the less mysterious they become and encountering them just becomes a question of remembering where they are and how to navigate around them to avoid getting hurt. No standy in blinky blinky pain square and getting bounced between two or more reflectors is only fun until you're dead. So yeah, the environmental hazards aren't much of a threat once you have experience with them. But, if you want to ramp up the difficulty for more of a challenge (especially early game) try the Stalker Mod (if you play pcvr because the quest version cannot be modded.) All enemies can spawn anywhere with that mod and encountering armored mimic commandos in Pervomay Route when you all you have is a Makarov... Well it doesn't usually go well.😅Also there's a newer mod called The Mist which covers the radius in a thick fog reducing view distance considerably. Like 10, maybe 30ft of view before things get lost in the fog. Even those slow fragments might surprise you if you're not listening for em. Anyway, sorry for the essay.

There are also just in-game difficulty settings that increase the spawn rate of enemies. But the STALKER mod is also a good addition to gameplay
