@@3_3kswa cod mwr came out 8 years ago. Technology only gets more and more advanced. People have found a way to successfully pirate recent games such as Elden Ring already. I think it's possible in 2-3 years

The reason it doesn't feel like 300fps is because the engine itself is capped at 90fps internally so the FPS counter is incorrect. It's a carryover from CoD4 and other old CoD games. Also disable cached shadows and shader preload and you'll instantly stop crashing until you encounter the "Out of Memory (12)" glitch which is fixed with a launch option in the H1 shortcut, I think it's -memoryfix

What? Cod4 did not have a FPS limit. Neither do most of the other old cod games (when playing with a client, steam version removes the console in most of them so you can't edit your config)

If You don't feel 300fps, it means, the game defaulted to 60hz. You can try to alt+enter twice or switch refresh rate in game options to 60 and then back to 144hz.

I gotta say that what I miss most in the entire call of duty franchise is slasher. Being able to use just boots on ground movement to run around and break the maps and other peoples ankles. Getting into spots I know I shouldn't be in normally. Good times.

hey m3rk, In your video u had mentioned that u were not comfortable downloading the dlc through a torrent. I did put a google link with the dlc files in a comment but i think it was deleted so i linked it to u on twitter. If people got to his tweet to look for it you drag the english folder in the the mwr area and the other files u just drag into the mwr folder

Quick disclaimer: only cancel the shader installation and disable the shader cache if you have an RTX 30 series or GTX 16 series gpu. If you have any other kind of gpu, let the shaders download and keep shader cache on.

the shader caching is supposed to help fps. if the game crashes while compiling it, try validating the game files in steam, or uninstalling and re-installing the game. also try enabling shader caching in your gpu's control pannel for the game

He might figure it out later in the video, but the game not running smoothly is almost definitely because of the shaders. Gotta cache them, otherwise they're being dynamically loaded while you play, which causes hitches.
