That means your psn id will never be able to play online, therefore you should make a new account if you want to sign in to psn on a jail broken ps3. You can play your games normally don’t worry, but just be sure to not get your main account banned by access psn on a jail broken ps3

You forgot to mention that webman has a combination (R2+Δ) which deletes the cfw syscalls and removes the history of the homebrew you have run but again it will revert if you restart your ps3

If you're really stuck for a CID, it may be wise searching for not working/broken PS3s and taking their CIDs. You may find some in recycling centers and people giving them away in market places. I find PS3s every one in a while to try and fix them / scavenge parts.

@Ben Edapal It's more or less a statement (which doubles as a disclaimer) with regards to the irregularities of utilizing homebrew whilst signed into the network. You won't look exactly like players who are under OFW in terms of how accounts are monitored, and thus, are more likely to get banned. But honestly, it's better to just say that "your mileage may vary", but don't be surprised if you do get banned.

Just a heads up to EVERYONE. Sony doesn't care if you bought the game or not. Having homebrew (multiman) on your system will notably increase your chances of being banned. I was just sent an email from legit sony stating they detected pirated software on my console and are permanently banning me. I don't sign into PlayStation network, in fact auto sign in is off. I have firmware spoof to current 4.86 firmware. I don't play any games online because I didn't want to risk for this reason. So even though I didn't sign in, even though I didn't go online, SOMEHOW they figured it out and still banned me. Good thing I don't have a ps4 with purchased content because I'd be furious. What even more interesting is I was sent it 2 hours ago. And I've been working and haven't touched my ps3 in over 10 hours

Question about earning trophies on a jailbroken system. So the idea I have in mind is that I want to jailbreak a system so I can download an ISO for a game that is delisted. After that I would like to play the game and earn all the trophies legitimately (they are all single player, so nothing online required). After that, would I not be able to take the system online and sync the trophies? Again, the only reason I want to jailbreak the system is just so that I can play a game that was delisted. Would this idea not work? I know playing delisted games is fine itself, but is it still possible to earn trophies legitimately?

No. You can still monitor the Temps with Start + Select. Just dont unload Webman otherwise custom fan control dosent work until you restart

Hey, I've been watching these videos and I think I'll go through with jailbreaking my PS3 eventually but I've got one query: I would like to play games on my PS3's main account where I'll remain offline for a majority of the time, but every now and then I'd like to sign into PSN so I can sync up the trophies then sign back out. At how much risk am I of being banned for this, just being signed in for a minute maybe once after a play session? I'm assuming if my console is rarely online then there's essentially no risk but maybe after you've signed in to PSN the once you're at risk. I'm not sure how this works exactly so clarifications would be great. Thanks!

Amarn T Sitran As long as syscalls are disabled you will be fine for just that, but if you’re online for a extended period of time there’s a chance you can be banned, especially if you’re playing games online.

Trophies: Trophies were created to have a gamerscore (similar to Xbox but not as rewarding) they give you points per trophy. 200 bronze trophies are much better than 2 Platinum, however the more platinum trophies you have the more "clout" you shall receive. So it just depends on the person. On PS4 there's some communities made for people with over 1000 Platinum trophies, however if you cheat yourself to get Trophies then it's not as fun and engaging as you can get any trophy you desire.

Team of Gamers Xbox live is much more tough on security and strict with bans so unlike with ps3, on Xbox live the only way you won’t get banned within seconds is if you use what they call a stealth server. The best stealth server is probably xbonline. Just look up how to set that up

Yes i had this Happen multiple times in the past and it gave all kinds of trouble.. There is one simple solution but it's kinda hard to explain. ill list some steps 1)go to rebug toolbox hombrew app 2)in there you'll find some weird options that say whether you are on cex or dex 3) you'll have to make sure that both of these option are set on dex if you want this message to disappear and mod online (that's from personal experience,it worked for me hope it works for you as well)

The methood to go online is 100% safe but you can't play all games online: to go online just simply download a package game in your ps3 and install its rap file and check its working fine or not and then when the package game is running fine then just simply download the dualboot ps3 update link in the last of the comment and then after that just simply format your usb to fat32 and create a folder with large letters name as PS3>UPDATE and then create folders in this form and after that just simply put the dualboot update in this folder make sure update files is name as PS3UPDAT.pup and then eject your usb and then after that plug your usb in ps3 once it is recognized update your ps3 witg storage media update and then after the update is done just simply play your package game online or go to playstation store if you want to do this purchases after doing this update ps3 is unjailbreak but don't worry to again do jailbreak just simply again install the update of your cfw and you are again simply on your jailbroken ps3. Hell no. You still have to do this though. I just got my main account banned and system banned while playing Minecraft online matches with my gf because I didn't watch this video when jailbreaking my console. Don't be dumb like I was. Do what he says even if your playing with no mods and a disc copy. Better safe than sorry. Also use a throwaway account if you care about your main one.

@@Crykar thanks for the reply. Unfortunately they got me with the same thing. damn sony. Both system and psn banned. I've heard of people calling to get unbanned by buying a sub, im on the fense, but i dont even have a ps4 nor interested in ps5. think ill cut the losses. besides, any purchases made i could just download elsewhere since technically i did pay to have the rights to those purchases. Plus the ps3 online will be dead soon which wasnt my intent in the first place of using. I just wanted to be able to play beat up discs i have and play my ps2 classic which either my brother sold to gamestop (yup, long ago) or the ones i have that are scratched to hell (siblings, cant stand them but have to love them).
