Something you did not mention but you can change the emulators which will vastly increase compatibility. Each official "classics" game came bundled with its own emulator so you can experiment with this if a specific game is giving you trouble. For example, Ape Escape 3 for PS2 only works flawlessly with the Rogue emulator (Rogue Galaxy). You can rip these emulators from the (classics) game dumps. There's plenty of PS1, PS2 and PSP emulators out there these days that will broaden compatibility.

How to rip these emulators from the classic game dumps? I have a US version of a ps2 classic and want to use that emulator at the EU version of that ps2 classic. Thats why I need to rip the emulator from the US ps2 classic game. Because Jak v2 and Rouge v1 both are not working with the EU version

PS2 Games- Download IMGburn, set it to look for your CD Rom, have it burn an ISO from your disc. Then follow the 9.00 tut ModdedWarfare uploaded, it'd be as if you downloaded the ROM from "questionable sources"

Great video and the jb works perfectly every try! Only problem is that the homebrew apps are to big for the display size and i even fixed it in ps4 settings and made it smaller but still bigger then the screen

I wish there was a patch file to add all these fixes so the emulator acts more like a program that just natively does these fixes instead.. rather than having to configure each game on a "per game" basis.

good tutorial on this but I kinda wish jabu would put an option in on psx fpkg reset on disk change like on the ps2 fpkg games like metal gear solid would work all the way through without resetting the emulator when changing disc's I know there is a config for it but I never could get it to work

Is this 11.00 only? If so, that would be the first reason for me to upgrade from 9.00, otherwise i'll just stick with that i guess (with the rpi zero). I believe your video about your essential jailbroken ps4 tools (very informative btw, but i was familiar with them thanks to your earlier posts), the title also prominently showed 11.00, while you had to mention some of the tools weren't even ported to 11 yet, so why not just "on a jailbroken ps4"? my ps3 is jailbroken and i have quite a few games on it. there should be a compatibility list. ive only had minor issues with a few games. mk shaolin monks is playable but slightly glitchy max payne freezes up freekstyle wont start black is playable but a bit laggy in some areas. god of war nfs underground nfs most wanted(05) midnight club 3 arena football mk trilogy run great i havent had any issues with them.

When you're in the game, hold down the PS button and wait for the quick menu to pop up. Scroll over to Sound/Devices and then go down to Turn off Device and then Dualshock 4 appears. Click it to turn it off and then turn it back on. I have to do this every now and then and it works for me.

Same, I got tekken 5, it asked me to press the start button, couldn't figure it out so I just deleted it, However recently I found out that the touchpad/button, has 2 buttons, Left and right sides, the right side equal the start button, just like how ps2 controllers has multiple buttons, the pad just represents those buttons, I haven't tried it myself, but you could give it a try and see if it works

there's no guarantee that your PS4 model will let you run this exploit, I own an 11 model of the system but it simply doesn't work like many others have experienced

Ps1 works good, most ps2 work ok but sometimes there's a slowdown, psps especially isn't working the best here. The compatibility isn't as good as ppsspp on pc. Ps3 is too much trouble to run using linux and even that is quite slow too. Basically only selected ps1 and ps2 games runs best, pgen, psnes,pfbneo,pnes and gba emulator runs perfect

PSX multi disc games are not fully compatible. You cannot switch discs. I played Lunar up to tbe 2nd disc and when i switched to second disc its rebooted the game and asked to load disc 1. Unless this emulator is newer.

Multi disc games only work if disc 1 lets you save right before disc 2. It does not have an auto swap feature. Those games need a LUA script to automatically swap discs when asked.

finally got a usb 3.0 gigabit ethernet adapter to try the newer 1.7.2 gui pppwn, and holy smokes that thing was flying. the older laptop i was using was a pain in the rear. i like this i found the area with the games, and was wondering how they got the custom splash on the pepsiman ps1 game i tried. man it was running near flawless, which is pretty sweet. i noticed karo has 11.0 fw linux payloads. do you know of any guides on how to install linux on the fw 11.0 with these new payloads, if they work with ps4 pro, and which distro should i start with for a guy who hasn't used linux in ages? is very simple.. take a usb drive/harddisk (min 64gb usb 3.0, usb 2.0 works as well but is slow) 1 make two partition one FAT32 50mb and the second ext4 with all the space 2 copy according to your model initframs and bzimage to fat32 3 extract tar.xz from distro to ext4 root 4 insert usb and launch payload linux (i think for 11 you need pppwn before) 5 use a usb hub because 1 port is for the distro usb and other 1 for mouse,keyboard and other stuff
