Thanks Lee MW, this is huge development - for those that were lucky enough to be on the right firmware and have the 2 apps - most can now follow through with this exploit now that the File Explorer (Full Trust version) is no longer a must-have. I know the developer said this is not a full jailbreak - but seriously, being able to dump games and run emulators is half the battle and once we get our foot in the door - anything is possible!

Albeit I won’t be involved in this exploit I hope this gets into the right hands so people can find new exploits making the mod more inclusive for a large chunk of system updates and consoles. It almost feels like this is how it starts, I remember Sony banning games on psp when they were first modded and then it was a mad hop from one app and game to the next.

Hey, I just wanted to say I was able to copy the text by setting up Nginx (a software usually used for hosting websites) on my computer, putting the file with my computers ip in it's html folder, going on my computers local ip from my xbox and coping it from MSEdge to GS. Hope this helps someone!

That sounds like a great idea! I have used nginx on my raspberry pi before and this sounds like it would work! Just make sure not to connect your xbox to the internet, only a offline lan with your computer.

GS app crashes on startup, My XB was offline no ethernet no WiFi. The license for apps/games sometimes crash and need to be renewed, it happened to me before the XB suddenly won't open any game after it was offline for long time until I connected to internet. This isn't going to be reliable forever. I think the offline licence is timed. M$ isn't stupid.

Easiest way I found was to use an old router for the connection from Xbox to PC, no remembering to turn off the wifi on the Android. The Xbox one's also take a little longer then the series boxes. My average is normally 4 to 5 attempts to get it run. Also on the 1st version with the Adv full trust most vids show the "Q" drive, if its not in there try the "U" ;)

@@millerman33 this is actually the easiest thing since you dont even need a vpn. Just set the region to turkey in xbox main settings. I recommebd to leave it like that since you dont have any restrictions anyways and switching regions many times maybe cause problems (not sure but since you can just leave it turkish just leave it). Sorry i forgot you need a turkish payment method which is pretty str8 forward since on ininal you can create online an virtual debit card which works perfectly fine

if the nvme is completely dead in a series its a paper weight. if it still has the partitions that have the drive key married to the console you can back it up and put it on a new one and install the os files like an xbox one console. maybe one day if ever someone can dump the drive keys from a series console but not yet. Banned consoles don't have access to the app to run this hack and microsoft removed it from the store anyway so even if you could access xbox live its not on there anymore.

The Game is just needed to Create Backups of installed Games. withot it the games are encripted and not usable on other consols and emulators. for the exploit only it is not needed.
