These are fantastic. Found these through Cubs' new mod video. I'm level 75 and only 2 months into the game, and this is one of the most complicated topics of the game with a large gap in content. These videos fill that void magnificently, very informative and straightforward. There's no fat and only meat in all of these breakdowns. Best mod content I've seen. Highly recommend to anybody! Nice effort man! I read a lot but still can't fully understand defence vs protection thing and why you mentioned to avoid defence. Can you elaborate in your next video about priorities and differences in protection/defence/health

Yeah, it'll need a broader topic, but there are certain pairings that are automatically worse than their opposites. For example, Crit Damage set with an Offense Primary triangle gets you less value than an Offense Set with a Crit Damage Triangle. Health Set with a Defense Primary is worse than a Defense Set with a Health/Protection Primary, for example.

Why do you show a Tenacity set with a Defense primary when you said you sell all Def primaries for all sets except Speed? I'm guessing it was a gold mod when you got it and you saw speed with other great secondaries?? And why isn't Potency considered a match for attack sets? I wondered the same about Tenacity with defense sets too but you did sort of explain that. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. They are a big help on the most difficult and most impactful part of the game.

Curious as to why you stated that offense primaries become imparings to the chars that use them. I thought for attackers, that would be desirable on cross and/or triangle.

Good Modding series. I would like to know why you do not recommend Defense primary for Health or Defense sets?

They're incredibly niche. %Defense is one of the best scaling secondaries in the game, and the primary gives much more Health or Protection depending on whichever you want.

I’m a little confused as to what slicing actually is. I’ve just recently started focusing heavily on mods and never understood slicing

I was wondering, in the case of mods that are set in stone for their primaries (i.e. squares with offense, diamonds with defense), do you keep mods that technically don't match up with that primary. For instance, if I were to get a square defense mod or an offense diamond mod.

Absolutely, you still need the mods to be able to develop full sets. Some of my favorite defense mods are squares and some of my best offense mods are diamonds! i.imgur.com/qt1qgrh.png and i.imgur.com/9fuKOBT.png for example

@@HIGHonLIFE1012 Definitely useful, characters like Spy, GMY, etc. can make good use of it. Any attacker with good turn meter cycle.
