You can also turn down the power consumption on headers just in case you want to put it on a small harvester. I use to do this when I was 10 years old with the old American John Deere game. Really cool and simple just take your time and everything will go the way you planned it to

Ok, don't quote me on this as I'm not completely sure, but I believe this issue can be solved (in mods that include both the combine and the header) by changer the spot that says "" from what the combine was originally called to whatever you renamed it to (LETTER FOR EXACT LETTER!!!).

Update. Was using the MultiCheat by WarezLine Mod. Without using the mod everything worked like DJ showed.

Pretty sure to change the overall speed you have to go into the xml file like he did the combine on the truck u wanna edit and the top speed should be right at the top.

Tried this on a Zisini Tetra. Started filling up with wheat, got 50k in and it started compressing the suspension. Put 150k in and it would hardly move. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Subscribed

I am new to pc . Don't know what I am doing wrong after I make the changes and compress back to zip it shows my change mods and it install but not in the game. If I don't compress them back I have the mods with the update I made. But it says my mods needs updates all the time

A little late to the party here. But I was modding one of the Russian trucks and it wouldn't let me compress the file because it contained a few Russian letters it the texture file. Renamed with no issues. : )

You should get winrar and set notepad ++ has default for xml. Then you can just edit the zip files without unzipping them. Will save you a lot of time

I followed this video step for step and I could not get it to work. When I went into the installed section of the mod hub I saw it there but just before you start the map where you deselect or select all mods I don't see it on the list of mods I can select. I have no idea what I did wrong

Thank yoooooooou! This information is so useful and definitely one of your best videos ever. I am having a bit of trouble though with a seeder. I want to raise the capacity of seeds and fertilizer. As soon as I type in the updateMass="false" The unit disappears in game. If I don't put that in, it works fine but the extra weight tips the tractor up on its back wheels. Any ideas?

Can I mod DLC files? Like the Claas pack, I don't like any of the mods for the Claas harvesters that are available and wish to mod the in game lexion 8900. However I cant find the file folder that contains the xml for this mod, is it possible to mod this?

Since you know everything about xml files i figured you are the best person to ask. Is there any way to edit the number of hours on a vehicle on a farm. I know that it is useless but if i buy a tractor from 90's then i want to edit it so that it has at least 100 hours. I know this is really late, but if you compress the folder itself, it creates a subfolder which has the files.The game doesn't notice it because it is looking for files there, not another folder. You can get around that by selecting all the files in the folder (before compressing it) and compressing the folder. From there, you can name the folder and go on. Of course it will keep the original name of the mod, so don't look for the one you named the folder. This happened to me and I was getting frustrated til I saw that there was an extra folder everything was put into. Works just fine now. Hope that helps.

Seems the speed cap for headers is 12km/hr - I set it to 20km/hr and it defaults to 12kph.
