With the Roms in cia format I just add those to the fbi folder on the sd card?

That's awesome! Yes, .cia files are pretty flexible about where they are placed on the SD card. It's the .3dsx files that are particular to being placed in the 3ds folder. And yes, we do, and we are NOT major appliances. :)

Yes. Just have an adapter for the sd card to connect to your Android device and follow these steps. You’ll need a file manager on your Android device.

Mr Locklair, what is the difference between a regular 3DS and the one shown in your video as ''new 3DS''? Is this method, the one you show in your video, useful for the 3DS from let's say 10 years ago? Thanks for your time

The New 3DS XL has a somewhat more powerful SoC and a trackpoint-style C Stick, as well as a ZL and ZR button and face-tracking 3D

Good question. The "New" model of 2DS and 3DS have a "C" stick, which is a small nub stick above the ABXY buttons. They have a more powerful CPU inside with more robust hardware. Also, they have support for Amiibos, which I don't believe the original models had, if I remember right. Some New models also have upgraded IPS screens on one or both of the displays, albeit somewhat randomly during the production cycle.

Maybe im just dumb, but it seems to me that this video was cut too short....what do you do AFTER you do everything in the video? id like to see a fully functioning Modded 3DS. i see the finalsteps but...can you now add your roms? and if you can...how? what are the steps? id love to do this mod and wanted to use this one, but i cant just go half way.
