Hey I'm from United states, just wanted to say hi 😊 not sure you will understand what I'm saying lol 😜 but also wanted to say I think Japanese girls are the most beautiful in the world. Smart, kind and polite. Why so perfect?

No, no.... Believe me. I'm Italian, and... Japanese girls are absolutely WONDERFUL. We seems like some kind of alien compared to you. Japanese girls hold something magic... gestures, looks, eyes, complexion ... you are stunning beauties *_*
A couple of years ago when we hosted students from this band, they explained how they run a couple miles before even playing and practice 4+ hours everyday including weekends. I mean they were visiting Hawaii and their instruments hadn’t arrived, yet they practiced in all down time just going through fingerings and motions.... that’s dedication.

This is normal in asia, my friend in singing group usually skip school lesson to practice.

It's normal practice in Japan to practice not only 3-4 hours after class, but also on the weekends. Of course, the level of commitment and effort differ for each school, and this school is definitely very, very serious and committed to marching band. My students don't run before playing though, so their stamina isn't anywhere near this level.

Their rehearsal schedule is 7-8.30 in the morning, 4-7 at night Mon-Fri. Saturday 1-7 and Sunday 9-7. That's 37.5 hours a week, in addition to their classes and homework. During summer vacation they attend 2 band camps. There are 3 national holidays where everyone is off, and the rest of their summer vacation is theirs. That's 2 days. They have exactly 5 days off a year. ..Joe
I LOVE that girly scream getting back into form...it adds so much personality to an otherwise almost "perfect computerized " display of highly trained musical soldiers.
Unless you have actually every tried to play a brass instrument while marching, you don't fully understand how nearly IMPOSSIBLE it is to play while JUMPING. Well done, ladies!

They are one of the premier high school marching bands in Japan. They have performed all over the world including appearances in the Rose Bowl parade. Awesomely talented kids!

Again, balance among the sections and intonation are SUPERB. This group is truly world class.
The more I watch this bands videos, the more impressed I am. Their spirit is so great, you can feel their enthusiasm. And as great as these kids are, I'd like to congratulate their director responsible for the arrangements, choreographs, and practices; whoever it is must be a wonderful person to lead them to be so wonderful.

As far as people know from a recent interview, the students do most of that by themselves. The choreograph was adopted back in 2005, improved and perfected over the year. They don't even have a full-time marching coach and do all of the composition by themselves instead of hiring a professional like other bands. That's their tradition I think. The students themselves are also responsible for the practices, students teach students as they call it. Basically no choreographer, the dace moves are passed down from the previous to the next gen and they add something new every year.
