Holy crap, the address on the record is my old studio / loft. Mad Mike told me that it was Juan’s old place, but seeing it in writing is surreal!

Music from the soul. Amazing artist, true legend Juan Atkins.

Completely amazing music here and I don't know if anyone makes something similar but hopefully there is a place on Earth where people could listen and maybe even dance to this stuff for hours and hours after the sun sets and as the sun rises again.

uT Xensis (and hevquip)..i really never understand how is definition of dance music and why the most reacts the same in this music since have objectively a dance rhythm/beat...even rock songs can makes you move...in which way this can't be something that makes you move??because is trippy? trippy and moody music makes me to dance even more than more ''pure dance'' music...that alien moody and rhythmic/danceable music either techno, trance or house puts you more stronger into such vibe where your expression aka your react aka your product aka your trip could expressed by dance or not.. why that seperation? such songs put me on extacy (so including dancing expression) the same or stronger than called ''dance floor bangers''...there are many who listen that nu psy trance and they say even about clear amazing dance pieces of 90's and early 00's of original rave prog/trance/house/techno music that is for ''chill'' hahahahaha because it is not that mostly uninspirational nu psytrance thing....while music of then was THE AGE of dance music....full rhythmic, vital, energetic, inspired, original, and motional not counted by level of aggression but by level of feeling that transfer to you, rhythmically and by mood..may the same song some times moves you and other times not..

Agte Mal I agree and applaud your love of the music. I only mentioned "maybe" people will dance because this tune is powerful as music for the mind as much as it is for the body to move. This can get people to nod their heads in acceptance of its superior groove without even being familiar with the genre. Wonderful track for sure.

I think Drexciya listened to this a few times ;) The beat always reminds me of "Set It Off" by Strafe with it's "sustained" open hi-hat - but the beat isn't in the foreground. Wish the bassline was crazy thick - I always beef it up when playing it. Top fave.

Only heard this for the first time last night as bought some other Metroplex stuff on Discogs and the guy had this. It's miles better than the A side, I see a light....oh and it goes for about £50 + which is a lot more than I'd spend on a 12. My fave Juan track is and has always been Off To Battle.

I like dance music a lot, but find it unfortunate that more artists - now and then - don't do headier tracks like this. Not every track has to be a dance floor banger.

As narrated, the blue pill will allow the subject to remain in the fabricated reality of the Matrix; the red serves as a "location device" to locate the subject's body in the real world and to prepare him or her to be "unplugged" from the Matrix. Once one chooses the red or blue pill, the choice is irrevocable.
