Love the tutorial. I ususally never have a problem using the curve warp but for some reason I am having trouble with the geometry of the rings becoming an absolute mess when I curve warp the chain. I froze transformations, made sure it was in the center et cetera. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Hmm tricky to know without looking at the scene. You could try deleting history and running a mesh clean up (if you haven’t already). Also could try duplicating the mesh and then try attaching the duplicated mesh as that would rid it of any history or links that could be causing the issue. Failing that I’d be happy to take a look at the scene if you send it to my email.

Hi! Thanks for this awesome video! I tried to create this same effect but using MASH but ended up with some wild results. I followed this video and can get the chain links attached to the curve but once attached the links of the combined shape all individually rotate on the X and Y axis to be connected width wise instead of by length. If you had the time could I send you my scene file to see what I am doing wrong?

Modify> Bake pivot. In my situation - on curve.

Sorry I missed this comment. If the bake pivot doesn’t work then check you have combined into a single mesh, deleted history and try again. If that doesn’t work let me know and I can take a look

Hey i am having the same trouble one of the person mentioned below its all messed up and i did exactly as u did the only thing i am using is bezier curve i tried with ep curve too but its not working.

OK it works but now its a bit far from the curve. its not on the curve for some reason.

@shiv3375 far from the curve usually means it wasn’t at 0 in world space or didn’t have the freeze transforms before attaching to the curve
