@spidernad1 If you don't ever have the occasion of seeing what a real Cessna 182 looks like up close (and most RC modelers usually don't), you'll be very happy with this model.

They should do the classic straight tail Cessna's! In particular the 180/185 series. Very little of these around...Put a four stroke in it!

@airste172 Did you buy one of these and were unhappy with it? I don't think it was intended to enter scale competitions, I mean it's close enough for an RC plane. To put that kind of scale accuracy into it would probably drive the price into the unaffordable category. Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but I'm pretty happy with it the way it is.

Aircraft that size would generally sell for around $800-$1000 dollars, each, depending on the setup, but that's life I guess.

I can't help but wonder, with such craftmanship being done, and the need for the workers to wear masks, exactly how much do they get paid to do this work, compared to how much these models will sell for on the open market?

While it's awesome in terms of size, I'm disappointed with the surface detail that's either wrong or missing. It's almost as if Timmy used some low resolution pictures and pure imagination to arrive at the detail on this mode without ever seeing or documenting a real 182 up close and in person. Some of the inaccuracies include control surfaces, lack of wingtip/stabilizer/elevator/tailfin end caps, hinges and the list goes on to be bigger than anything that can be mentioned here. Nice big toy!
