Model Car Scales: What are They? Which one is Best?

Could you talk about Matchbox collectors? Recently there was a small convention near me that was Matchbox only. There seemed to be a lot people going to it. Is that a big group of people involved with that?

1/18 scale. Dunno if it best because it can be subjective (depends on what you usually prefer / what scale) ..but it is the most convenient. They are big enough (you get a fairly good size for an auto model) ..but also less of a space hogger in comparison with scales like 1/14 or 1/12. I like the 1/14 & 1/12 scales too but they take more space easily so in comparison you can fill a display easier with a bunch of 1/18s (in lenght and number of cars displayed) compared to the bigger scales. I have in my collection a bunch of 1/24 and 1/32s but my favorite scale remains the 1/18 (followed by 1/14 & 1/12 ..but in 1/12 I have a Iow number of cars 😅 because they are more expensive and also space hoggers). 😁
