The Pearl stuff is really cool. Love the color. I’m a big fan of all the scalefinishes stuff including the honey gloss. I think it’s a nice “in scale” Shine. This is a cool build! Really great result!

Thanks! It was an experiment to see how this paint works and looks. I had problems with putting the kit together, well with the hood, but I agree. It is an interesting paint that can work with other colors besides black.

Thanks. Rattle can blue then ScaleFinishes Pearl and clear. It was done as an experiment to learn how the pearl works.

Wow that color looks amazing! On real cars they will put a bunch of balled up tinfoil under the hood to see what's hitting when they close the hood. Maybe you can put a thin coat of Vaseline or something similar that won't dry. You can see what transfers when you close the hood. Just a thought.

@@modelbuildingcorner Thanks Joe. Great ideas with how to figure out what the hood is hitting. I'm pretty sure it was something I did in the build process. It's a Revell kit and they usually fit very well. Have a great Sunday!
