Cool. I have a 61 F100 similar to the AMT 63 F100 kit re-released this year. In the late 1980s I installed a 428 Cobra Jet engine in it from a 1970 Cougar Eliminator that had been crashed. Still in there, but with about 450,000 miles since that swap, the engine is a bit tired. The kits come in 2 versions. Both are Eliminators. 1 version like yours comes with the Boss 302 engine. The other kit comes with the 428 Cobra Jet engine. The 1 thing about that 69 Cougar kit that bothers me is the front wheel wells that might be semi accurate in a Chevelle, but are WAY wrong for a Cougar. I have a couple of the 69 Cougars that I have 67 Mustangs to supply the front frame and fender wells to make them more accurate. I might use the rear axle, except the axle in the 67 Mustnags, including the GT350s is a Ford 8". Correct for a 2 barrel low performance base V8 Mustang. A Ford 9" is correct for a high performance GT K-Code Mustang, GT 350 or GT500. The center section of the 8" is flat on top and bottom. The 9" is round top and bottom. So my Cougars will get a 9" from some other source. My Boss 302 will be an SCCA road racer (like Trans Am racing, but as an amateur). The 428CJ will be a drag car like yours. Those slicks...are they NASCAR slicks? They suit the car well. Not too huge. Not Pro Street. More like Super Stock or weekender.

@dustymojave Thanks man. Sound like some cool projects for sure. And ya, the rear are Nascar tires.

@cardzscaledreams3917 Good fit. Hard to find 10.00-15 slicks. Or even 12.00-15 slicks.
