Hey Tim, thanks for the great review of MCM 214. The Pierce Arrow "Revival" build is nothing short of stellar considering the original kit was basically a wire axle promo with a really basic engine in it. The pace cars are likewise super nice builds. The Vintage Workbench column is my baby, the third in a series I've written, so I hope you enjoy it. Last issue I covered the AMT 32 Ford Roadster. I also want to give mad props to Tim Kolankiewicz, who puts this whole thing together and makes everything look so good. And to Gregg Hutchings for keeping the flame alive for over 2 decades now. The best is yet to come!

Thank you Tim for sharing the Model Cars Magazine! I’ve been a subscriber for years, sure there were several times where I was frustrated because months had gone by without a magazine to look at, but Gregg has a lot on his plate,not to mention his terrible back pain! He’s hung in there and has put his all into making a great magazine for us model car builders. I’m glad I stuck with them! And I’m really glad that Gregg has never given up! And Tim, I like the way you went through the magazine page by page to show all the great articles, like the one by Dave Darby about the history of the Streaker Vette! And I really liked the coverage of the Midwest Freeze Frame show in Ft Wayne Indiana hosted by Eddie Ferguson. Although you didn’t point out my Green Vega, but it was kinda hard for you to see it under your hand! I’m just messing with you Tim! Great video as always! Keep up the good work!

Great magazine. I remember just knowing about the forum and saw the magazine was no longer in production. Happy to see it back in production. Sad it is not out here locally in Colorado. May need to just buy a subscription.

I love model cars mag, have had a subscription for years now. Gregg and crew do one heck of a job putting together these magazines. Be patient it’s not a big publishing company ,but I can tell you it’s well worth it. I like to have a paper copy in my hand and even consider my model mags a collection of there own at this point.

Tim, thanks for this video about model magazines. Yes, SAE mag is gone but even before that, there was Model Car magazine along the side and it wasn't as good as Scale Auto was and it was some kind of "filler" magazine to read between the issues of SAE. But now, it seems like Model Car magazine has stepped up their game and it looks like a good magazine now that SAE has been gone for awhile, so no, model car magazines are not extinct

I agree that magazine is great. Reminds me of what SAE used to be. I used to subscribe to it but Utube and Facebook kind of replaced it and I would have mags sitting around unread. I eventually read them and Ill pick one up at any hobby shop I visit to help support them.
