Model:Cycles - A First Play

I got a Model:Cycles two days ago. It's great. Anyways, I made this project, and like ten other patterns.
I'm actually kind of stunned at the amount of timbral versatility it has. Six machines and four knobs, and a few effects, but ... I'm not bored of the sounds!
If people have questions let me know, but at least right now I don't regret it for a second. (And I have a digitone, lol.)
Also: I think I'm going to make a second channel. This is because I want to make commentary videos, but if my commentary channel that I watched had music interspersed in it, I wouldn't subscribe to it myself. It's basically more fun to make music than it is to make videos, but it's more fun to make commentary videos if I'm making videos. Sort of a weird catch-22 I find myself in ...
Anyways. Hope you like this okay, let me know if you have any questions about it, and I'm hoping to make a larger video about this and the model samples at some point in the near or far future! The model series is so forgotten, but I really like it.

It's honestly way, way better than I thought it would be. Especially for $200 (you can find it in the used market for around that regularly) ... I actually was first introduced to the model:cycles by a friend, and I think me and him have very different sounds that he likes. I've found much more joy with it this time around (after learning the model:samples, also). I think punch actually expands the timbral versatility a lot.There's no attack, which is the most annoying feature of this and the model:samples, but otherwise ... beautiful.

Lovely little box and first jam. Very plunky. They make rly great products and are on my list to acquire after the new Microkorg 2 drops. I'm currently sample hunting for my Liven Lofi-6 and It's also a fun little device. Peace n love from a Texan Bear in their 30s and happy Pride to yah❤
