I would like to build a few of MHF 1/12 cars but I hate die cast metal parts and MHF have a lot in their kits. I would love their Ferrari 250 GTO and the F1 126 C2 turbo Villeneuve car and others. But metal parts don't cast as crisp as plastic does. Primer and paint doesn't adhere as well either and along with that I've seen many metal parts bent because they stuff them in a bag. They would have to up their game a lot before I buy anything from them especially since their prices are so damn high! 🇨🇦

They are not for everyone, each to their own.

If you are used to Tamiya 1/12 then MFH is not for you. The amound of remedial work required is huge and that's after you've tried to justify paying 3 x the price.

I think these types of kits are for people that want to challenge themselves and/or are interested in the subject matter. They are not really much more difficult than building a Tamiya kit with the Top Studio full detail kit, and the cost is not much more if you factor in the detail sets. Of course, nothing wrong with building a Tamiya kit out of the box and enjoying the process, each to their own. I enjoy doing both!
