Clearly one of the (if not the) best series for the beginner. Easy enough for them to understand, with enough modern techniques to feel up to date, not overwhelmed with resin, PE and the plethora of after-market stuff that can make a $150 model aircraft. I'm like the fellow below, absent for many decades, now retired and coming back. Congratulations on your work. I'm subscribed.

Just finished watching the whole series. Agreed with the previous poster, together with Jen Wright's Airfix Mosquito series, this is one of the best English language KZbin "Beginner Modeller" series available. You capably displayed the scale smoothness of finish required and how it is achieved with MRP. You are obviously working in a clean environment with minimised dust contamination - perhaps this could have been emphasised in the commentary. There was clearly a lot of voice and video editing time went into this together with the material inventory document in the link - it's very professionally done and very much appreciated.

Well done, thanks for that. You have done a really neat job on that model, I am particularly impressed by how nicely your decals look and the panel line wash enhances the appearance of your model. The VMS clear coat is obviously good stuff, I have some of that but have not tried it yet. I hope you don't mind me saying that I am not sure the panel line wash counts as weathering, I would categorise it more as a technique to improve the visual appearance like tonal modulation and dry brushing etc. Weathering would then cover the likes of wear and tear, paint chipping, mud splatters, gun soot, oil and exhaust stains etc. I would also be careful to use dark grey rather than pure black which might be appropriate for a factory fresh appearance but can often look rather stark. Otherwise great stuff, looking forward to your next build.

Awesome series! 👌🏼 I consider myself an ‘experienced’ modeler but I watched the whole series in one go glued to the screen! Very well done and right at the level of a beginning modeler that wants to delve into using an airbrush and be proud of the finished model. Kudos for choosing this kit as it appeals to many a starting modeler and doesn’t have the pitfall of an overly complicated interior. 👍🏼
