This is the best video I've ever seen for folks like me who are not rivet counters, and just want trees that are easy to slap together and look reasonably good. In fact, yours look really GREAT. Thanks!

Really enjoyed that two simple and effective techniques, I’ll need a lot of trees on my layout and think that’s a great way of doing it. Thanks for sharing, cheers for now John

Make sure the top most peice of filter is vertical if you're making the pine trees! I left mine horizontal and still got a great looking tree, but not what I was going for. Great video. Relatively pain free/ quick way to craft nice lookoing trees. Thanks mate.

If I remember correctly I used hair spray from a budget store and after spraying the tree I would dip, roll, or sprinkle fine to medium-fine scenic foilage.

This is nice, does it also work with acrylic paint? I'm working with what I have for a project and I couldn't buy those leaves.

Your trees look great. What size wire did you use to make the deciduous trees? I have that same church and I too took the time (in 1985) to paint the stones different colors.
@daguy8151 Жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly I think it was 16 Guage wire
