I totally agree that model trains do look longer. I ran a train with 10 units and 70 cars and it look like the train was over 3 miles long.

Brian and me have done several interviews on planning your model railroad. They are all on my channel. Just today Brian and I sat down to discuss the most significant things that have improved the hobby since we started modeling. It will most likely be in about 4 parts.
