Model Railroad Tour

Six model railroads from the Color Country Model Railroad Club's 2024 open house. Nano to G gauge!
We are visiting two locations at the Color Country Model Railroad Club's open house. The first is M. David Merril's HO railroad in his home. It follows operations in the Wasatch Mountains, including a beautiful recreation of Park City, Utah, when mining was still the primary business-in other words, before the ski resorts!
Next up is a huge space where several modelers are building 5 different model railroads. One is a demonstration "wedding cake" model railroad with scales and gauges from Nano to G. Scales from about 1:900 Nano scale, T scale at 1:450 scale, Z scale at 1:220 Scale, N scale at 1:160 scale, TT scale at 1:120 scale, HO scale at 1:87 scale, S Scale at 1:64 scale, O scale at 1:48 scale, and G scale at 1:22.5 scale.
There is a three-rail Lionel layout, an HO pike, a G gauge layout, an automated HO railroad with operating lift and rolling bridges, and a tricky Farris Wheel train management system.
