I thought the opening drone shot was actually a model layout. Confusing. This video is quite timely because I've just ordered some of those Just Plug lights. It's good to see how easy it is. Nice drone blooper at the end too.

Great video! Funny and informative, per usual. I’ve been into the Just Plug for my N scale since January. First buildings. Now single lights. I too am unsure of cool vs warm lights. So I ordered both to put inside an office building, large train station and roundhouse. Hard to tell on your layout but I’d probably lean toward warm for outdoor lighting and cool for office/industrial/hospital. Thanks!

Hey, DJ! The fixtures and lighting look fine. Very nice work on the building lights. I originally looked at Woodland for these, but then saw an ad in MRR magazine for fiber optic lights. When I get to the scenery phase, I'll probably go with them. My track work is almost finished, putting in a small yard to store cars for effect. I'll give you a link when I get the board cleaned off of drills, roadbed, bits and pieces, etc. The drone flight was interesting and yeah, it gets tricky when dark! Cheers, Bob

Having different colored light isn't so bad, but it might look nice to switch the locations of each colored light a bit. Instead of having 3 cool on one side, and 3 warm on the other, maybe switch them so you have 2 cool 1 warm on one side, and 1cool 2 warm on the other. That way it isn't as noticeable. Great video though, glad you didn't smack that building! Lol

thankfully in canada we have more relaxed drone laws we can fly all sorts of places. i have imagrey from over hump yards in the middle of the night and all sorts of other crazy things. the lowest battery i had in flight was at 1% i was in sight of my drone and even if it went down i could still get it but i got it home on 1%. and i captured a three train meet on the flight. yeah those things are fun but they can certainly give you a bit of a scare from time to time.

Any guy over the age of 30 will tell you that 18-23 are your most fun times in your life. They will be your memories you laugh about at age 51 (like me). The railroad consumes your life 24/6. It is a very hard lifestyle. You lose relationships with many people because they cant understand your non schedule. Gotta trust me on this. Please.
