for the joint area, if you take some styrene to sheet to shape the land form and road area, then you can plaster both sides of the styrene ,when the plaster is dry you remove the styrene and the land forms should line up together hiding the joint when ou finish it off,

The only person who's had a rather rotten Christmas is me. I haven't been feeling too good over Christmas. I suffered a bad cough and a nasty cold on top. However, videos are beginning to appear on my channel, so I'm getting my schedule back to normal. Happy playing trains day.

Is the windmill modelled on Pitstone Windmill as you sound like you’re quite local to me?

Yes the one near Ivanhoe, used to visit as a child so decided to paint it black, not 100% the same but fairly close thanks for watching- Mark
