I am not surprised that the Hornby Collectors Club has gone free to join as it really only made financial sense to join it if you lived in the UK. Due to the exclusive distribution deal that their Australian supplier has they won't even mail products that you buy from their website to Australia.

I like that Accurascale are thinking about making couplings less obtrusive. Making the loop clear seems so obvious it makes me wonder why nobody has done it before. But I also I think though at say a yard away with a train in motion you don't couplings anway. On the real thing it is a blur of blackness anway. It is something new anyway!

There is so much LNER stuff these days. I remember back in the 70's we had A4's because of that famous one named after the duck and 4472 and the occasional J or B in RTR. I am sure back then the LNER and SR were vying more for 4th place than 3rd when it came to what was offered.

Oh yeah I spotted that but only after I had edited the whole thing together and was checking it over. But now I've seen it, I can't un-see it. I'll be eagle-eyed when we get some final production sample photos though

Why did you stop doing roasts? You used to bring something truly unique to KZbin's model railway community that no one else has ever done and it was well received by your audience so I don't understand the decision to stop.
