Model Review: FireForge Games Teutonic Infantry

These were a smaller box set from FireForge game's Deus Vult collection. A lot of stellar bits are hidden in these sprues and the capes alone make this box entertaining as hell. You can actually make heavily armored rangers or scout units with crossbows and capes. Hopefully I can get my hands on something new from them here soon.

..by mixing and matching fireforge teutonic , templar and foot sergeants , ...and medeaivil knights boxes of foot miniatures the 28mm plastic crusade collecter has ample potential for a very varied force , ....also mounted miniatures of the period are well covered , ...not forgetting the two mongol sets that offer convertion possibilities , ..a very useful range indeed , ...

I was very disapointed with the crossbows. I expected some with two arms to make the poses easier. Also, I had no idea which left arm went with which right arm - no assembly instructions, no numbers, just pot luck.

Its hard to say, their modeling style is very different from GW. From a distance? No, but up close things will get a bit squirrely.

Can you mix them with GW bits? as in giving them lasguns or chainswords

Personally I don’t like the teutonics and I wanted templars but I’m hey are sold out right now so I just got this and snipped off the weird helmet things and they were great! 9.5/10 just because I want more crusader helmets but it was great!
