Stunning model. Sad to relate this famous clipper ended her days in Geelong, Australia where she caught fire after being loaded with cargo. She was eventually scuttled and sank in 27 feet of water. The shoals where she sank became known as "Lighthing Shoals".

Bruce My word - clearly an unbelievable triple PhD thesis and post-doctoral fellowship in model shipbuilding! Stunning doesn't even begin to describe it! A humorous note - the little wooden guy at the end looks just like Captain Kangaroo - the US childrens show host of the same named show!
