Fun fact: If you look at both cgi models of thomas side my side You will see that the original cgi model had seemed to be recycled to be used as the cgi model we know Just with a bew face

Honestly prefer Thomas and Diesel's faces in this animation test over what we eventually got. They're a lot more faithful to their original model faces I think.

The CGI test clips aged terribly compared to the CGI animation for Nitrogen, Arc, and even Jam Filled. The colors look flat, ugly and washed out for a CGI production, Thomas' face at the end of the first CGI test video shows Thomas is more concerned than unhappy he went back to where he started, and the animation (like I said) pales compared to the later CGI animation they would go on using for the original series. The original model version of the episode is the clear superior version.
