MODEL VLOG | First time in New York : jobs, fittings, schedule, agency...

Between May and August 2022, I stayed in New York City for the first time. In fact, it was my first time out of Europe. This video aimed to document how it went as I was new to the NY market and no one knew me. I shot it in July and only uploaded it now (Feb '23) because I had to wait for the release of certain images.
Although I started filming this with the idea to show that it's been slow for me yet exciting nonetheless, things took an unexpected turn throughout the video. It can only show the ever changing nature of this job.
I hope this video can help you to understand the waves that constitute the schedule of a model, and perhaps motivate you to keep going despite the times of nothingness :)

Oh absolutely ! That is exactly why I moved here, but one must be ready for anything because not every story is an instant success story. I for one am an example (it may be the subject of my next video, in a way). This, however, does not change the fact that the opportunities here are truly global and more prestigious than what I had been getting on the regular in the past (in London).

@@sarahconnell Cool. When I did a few Picosure laser treatments that was the state.of the art for scarring. Dermaroller isn't bad as a cheaper option 🤩
