Asmaa Raess that might be the case of course! did not think about that. if it has with Graces own comfort to do it’s totally understandable. not going to lie though. first thing that came to mind were all these mothers who have children/grown up children with autism so they therefore think they’re now the spokesperson for the whole autistic community, telling other verbal people with autism/aspergers and even media eeeeverything about how a life with a neuropsychological diagnosis feels, without having it themselves. those people take focus from the real voices somehow. I just don’t want that to be the case. I didn’t really hear much questions even yes och no ones asked towards Grace. like if she’s happy about her new clothing line etc. it could’ve been an option to let her answer (again if she wanted to and felt comfortable) and then let her mum handle it with repeating the answer and adding a bit more to it perhaps? like “yeah, you’re happy aren’t you?” and a some more. I don’t know. maybe text? there are a lot of options.

What a pretty girl & so talented! It’s so wonderful to see the opportunities available for people who are challenged. It’s not all rainbows and unicorns but it’s way different than even just a few years ago. Some folks just aren’t comfortable talking “in front of “ what will turn out to be many people. She may also be concerned people won’t be able to understand her. But she’s an amazing young woman and regardless of whether it’s a fashion line with only caps & T shirts you never know where it can go. Big names inspire big dreams!

Ppl with down syndrome are usually stubborn. And they love having attention. I had a twin sister who had down syndrome. They are pretty shy sometimes and can look like they're nasty. Don't judge them by just seeing them through a lens infront of the camera. And u have no idea about the amount of love they have and show towards their mother.

Tavina Sivapalan no one said shes constantly horrible to her mum off camera. It was Just when her mum was talking she kept making little comments and the way she was telling her mum to shh at the end. When she does something like that the mums just says things oh she’s so sassy. It’s not sassy it’s a bit rude yes I know she has a disability but her mum would let her get away with murder. Obviously I don’t know them personally but the mum seems like the kinda parent that just can’t say no 😅
@poppypocket87326 жыл бұрын
+Tavina Sivapalan of course they're not like that towards strangers, family have to tolerate the attitude cos they have no choice, especially her mum. Don't say people with Down's syndrome are stubborn. That personality trait is not exclusive to just them. Don't try to add that as part of her fucken disability.
