Fantastic weekends fun at Old Warden at the Modelair Festival of Flight.
Saturday started a bit wet and then a bit breezy but at least I did get a good look around the stalls and more importantly a proper look around the Shuttleworth Collection. Great to see they have 2 SE5a's in the hangers and very pleased they are now the owners of the BAE heritage aircraft
On the FF field the wind proved a bit challenging on the saturday, often peaking at well over 10 mph but to compensate Sunday was wonderful with the wind dropping to calm spells between the lift. Sunday was pretty much as good as it gets for an Old Warden meeting
The Air Cadets were around on Saturday, which gave the whole day more of an RAF feel, hope they enjoyed it too
