I agree with your points, one thing that always bothered me is the deep dish wheels on almost every casting. It would be nice to see some different wheels every now and then. For example the r33 would look a lot better without the deep dish look

Omg exactly! Alot of collectors (especially Kaido lovers) will bash me if I say this. Tbh I never liked any Kaido house casting except the R33. I am a huge R33 and S15 fan so that's the reason I got the R33.

Actually the good thing is that you can wheel swap them, and use the deep dish wheel for other custom project

but thats the thing...... How many R33 1:64 accurate models can you find out there? the number of brands is infinite.... thats why you know Kaidohouse exist, because their take on the models is different. If you want a R33 without deep dish, there's the Inno64 model and the PopRace one... Kaido doing something similar to that would be just another R33 boring casting

To be fair the Kaido House castings design philosophy gives more room to be abstracted a little. In my opinion Kaido House brand is Mini GT's way of having fantasy castings with out interrupting their core products.

The R34 looks pretty spot on to me. Look at where the car begins and ends from the wide body. Same as the other brands.

It's kinda 1:64 1:63 ish. the 240Z is definitely not 1/64 but it is 99% identical in size with 240Z from Hot Wheels in size/dimension

Company’s need to sell a lot of cars to pay for the tooling so if it takes 8-10-20 versions to make its money back and then some profit, so be it. As long as the designs are cool there will always be a market for each car. Also yes there mere only 3-4 models for a while but there are 3 new model this year so things are improving. I assume each casting takes a lot of time to develop and perfect. I love the brand. My only gripe is is the closest store to me that sells them is 2 hours away. I always prefer to buy in person than pre order and wait, but that is not necessary Kaido Houses issue. That is a market problem. I feel you might be knit picking a bit just to have content

I totaly agree with U ,especially about the use of allways the same Castings .even they are favorites of many Collectors ,it would be so much more facinating to have many different Types of Cars Kaido House Styled like a Toyota 2000GT for example

Well the trick is not to buy every car, diversify if you tired of the same castings move on to a different brand for a while I display my cars and don't want 10 of the same style or shape 2-3 is good unless it's one i really like the resin models from My64 and DMH are alternatives with even more details

I only have few release of the 510 pro street and 510 wagon. I haven't chase their release for a long time. No hate because the first kaido house was the turning point for me to choose other brand instead of hot wheels. Personally i think they should tone down those wide body design.

Hey, new guy here! Amazing video :). To be fair I have never watched any content about diecast, but maybe now I will start :) to introduce I have Elite 64, Volvo and FnF collections by Hot Wheels and newly joined Inno64 and Kaido House which I still love after this video, but yeah, it will be pretty rare because I feel no point to collect same car over and over again :).

Jun has stated many times in his live chats that the Kaido House cars are slightly larger than 1/64 scale and don't try to fit into that category. With that said, I do agree regarding the BLKLTD cars being overpriced especially when in essence all they are is the same $20 model painted black...oh, and you sometimes get a pin. I do love the style and detail of the Kaido House cars though. However, my OCD won't allow me to display them alongside other MiniGT's in my collection because they appear a bit larger next to them.

Im very picky about which kaido models I pick up. Im not a big fan of the 510 or Z in general so i dont own any of those. I do like the r34 and r33s a good bit but im not crazy about kaido house

i only collect their datsun 510 model as they are unique , not liking the wide body kit on the R34 wish that they made a normal version then i will consider collecting if not its jus 510 only.

I just so happen to love 510s so it works out for me but I can totally understand. The scaling is definitely bigger, not a big fan since I display my collection, granted my kiado house is on its own shelf now. However the level of detail and over quality makes it worth it. I love the exclusivity of BLKLTD editions but at that price point I pass. More Respect to the collectors that do buy them tho

This line is nothing but Hot Wheels on steroids. Overpriced, non scale, and the same old casting. That's why I only have 1 in my collection. The main problem is 1/64 is dominated by Hot Wheels toy collectors that have never built a scale model kit. They prefer inferior toys that roll and weigh a lot over realistic looking scale models.

except the third point not a single one is valid the first one is just annoying to almost every brand out there the second one is so wrong I mean if for the scalem, WITH the body kit if they shrunk down the size just to match with the stock body it would be VERY VERY WRONG, casting and reality wise the R34 from TW and MiniGTzKaido looks definitely normal scaled, you get more bulk with more body kit , as simple as that.

To make a profitable business, you have to use the cast and mold you got for all your money's worth plus profit. If you only produced a limited number (few thousands) and stop at only 2 or 3 variants, you are not a business.

Kaido House Style is not for everyone. R34 Wide Body is way too weird for me. But i still ordered one of them. 😂 I think Datsun 510 Wagon in Red / Purple and R33 Purple is the best casting from kaido house.

I am a fan of kaido but i collect only wagons,510 Pro street and the 4 skyline.. the special edition of kaidos are to expensive for me cant afford it!! I loved the casting of each model.. i'm not dreaming to complete them because some kaidos are too pricey!!

When a hot wheels designer steps in, that line will slowly turn into a hot wheels. Then there’s the scaling, hot wheels-eque scale which too large. Kaido House is lame.

@@paullutz457 no I didn't mean it in a condescending way. I personally stick to HW due to their durability. So it was a suggestion. I'm also not a fan of realism. I like how HW designers interpret the cars in their own style even though it's never an accurate depiction, I do like them that way. Been collecting for years now.

I have one MiniGT Lotus 78 F1 but idk it didn't really blow me away. Just not the style I like maybe. I think I should get the McLaren F1 and my feeling towards MiniGT can change. It looks amazing.

@@majorgrub1730 Yeah I collect Supras mainly. I have all the Mini GT, Autoworld, Hot Wheels and Matchbox Supras. I like the look of the Kaido House Silverado so I bought a few different colors etc and all have a few areas that need to be redesigned.
