Nothing like building older kits from decades ago to make you appreciate the modern tooling and molding we enjoy today. I do believe the Revell 1960 Corvette has a multi-piece body too, challenging.

I built many 1/32nd scale Pyro kits as a kid. Decent quality. This '37 Chevy is looking nice Matt. This Chevy will look good when your finished. Thanks for sharing.

You come up with some of the coolest vintage kits. I probably walked past kits like this a half a dozen times and never noticed them. Gonna look sharp when finished. Peace and love.

Nice job on a real finicky kit! I built many of those back yonder time just to play with. At that time, I had no idea filler was available. Extra panel lines it was. I remember some of the 1/32 kits were molded in a red, green, and maybe blue metal flake plastic that you could almost see through. I had a large box full of these kits loose with parts for years an finally gave all my kits including one of the huge Monogram 32 Ford kits that I had built to a fellow modeler when I was going to be stationed in England. I made me sick, and a lot of time and money was tied up in that bunch of models. Oh, well. That was 30 years ago now. Time do fly when you're having fun. Those big rig builders would probably love some of the "Super singles" the modern rigs are using. If they are out there, I haven't spotted them yet. Cheers Terry

Looks like a cool looking kit, you should offere dually’s for the racers wedge kit, it would be 10 wheels for the tandem axles, 4 duals & 2 matching front could also be used if converting a pick up to a dually or a tow truck. Also wheelie bars would be great.

Nice so far. Can't wait to see it finished. I'm working on the Linburg 1:32 model T couplet. It's a lot of fun.

Thanks for sharing Matthew. Looks like a fun little kit to build. I've never had much luck with multipart bodies like that but looks like you conquered it. You really did a nice job on the headlight buckets. Looking forward to seeing the paint job. 👍👍

I have this same kit as a Lindberg. I’ve been ignoring it for a while, but not before I’d opened the trunk up. I haven’t decided whether to make it a trunk or a rumble seat. I’d bought a 1930 Ford Model “A” pickup at the same time( also a Lindberg of similar origin).

My gosh when you turned that sprue with the headlights I inhaled big time with my “oohhh”, that’s crazy. They should’ve had it on the side that will attach to side of the car not the side that faces out n can be seen.

I think PYRO was just one of the mold owners as I have built the 1932 Chev roadster in 1:32 scale, LIFE LIKE was the brand on the box, a fun build. I was able to use seated figures from a 1:35 scale farm wagon, with surgery, but great results.

It's always interesting to see these older model kits and how different they were in many respects from what was offered later on. This looks pretty well detailed for its size, although assembly looks like it could be a bit fiddly.

Man do we have it good nowdays! Anyone complaining about a modern kit should tackle one. I remember fighting the 49 Ford and 52 Chevy Lindberg bodies.
