'Building Lowpoly Shop Blender Timelapse'
Render created using Eevee blender.
Its a modular tutorial and its creation is highly based on 3d grids.
But its mainly a timelapse.
You can also slow down the video to see what I am really doing
I hope you like it !
To download the scene you can get it from my patreon page :-
/ huzzain
I think I will also create timelapse videos. Will also make tutorials whenever I will get time .

For those whom are saying its low poly here is a list from which you can find out how much low and high poly it is . Every thing is prety much an instance of a few meshes. Its for Console games not for mobile games . You can also get the project file from my patreon page and make sure that the given tris of my scene shared here are correct. 1,244 tris corner pillar 80 tris front single panel of entrance 48 tris tris corner pillar 2 965 tris side wall panel with window 196 tris simple wall 12 tris for floor 5,760 tris street lamps 2000 tris street lamp banners has the wind effect animation with it . 96 tris ventilation duct 12 tris for outdoor floor tiles. Single chair 8,848 tris Highest lod as for polys it can be reduced easily with subdivision modes. table stand 3,208 tris table cloth with lods 222 tris Lod 1 832 tris Lod 2 3,328 tris Lod 3 6,656 tris Lod 4 26,624 tris Lod 5 Plus I have decent computer specs i7 with 24 gb ram Nvidia GEFORCE 1050 And its not that good as compared to the computers that are used for making AAA games in the current era and generation.

According to the count at the bottom of your screen in object mode it's aprox 364,000 tri's, for the scene, that's why people are saying it's not low poly.
@haunteddiary15
@haunteddiary15 3 жыл бұрын
OK, i've just downloaded it, and yeah, 700k tri's for the final scene, which is why i and others thoguht it was high poly, but a majority of that is the props you've added, the building is 47k tri's , which isn't high poly, but i still wouldn't say low poly, more an average poly for a detailed mesh of that type and size. So while i stand by my opinion that it isn't really low poly, i do apologise for inadvertently exaggerating my diagnosis. You also need to count the poly's in every instance against the total, because when you export it out to a game engine the export will confirm the instances as actual geometry and add to the count, instancing has no benefit outside of Blender. But then again the whole low poly phrase is very subjective as nobody seems to be able to make a definitive answer about what exactly low poly is.

@@haunteddiary15 Bro its not for mobile game its for console games , It depends on what you are comparing these assets with . Second its due to table cloth LOD (level of detail ) it goes to 700k . I have used many subdivision for the LOD of a single table cloth . And the reason I have used such amount is because I have used wind animation for it . But without any LOD of a table cloth the whole scene will be 73,473 tris triangle . Which does not even come close to current games like GTA or red dead redemption . Even an old game like THE ORDER have used 100,000 triangle per character . The low poly for mobile games is different then for console games. You can use millions of polys for game assets but it will not run smooth on a gaming engine. You will need a better Computer to run it . Other then that you will also need to workhard to make it low poly and compatible to run it smooth on a console. The low poly I have made in this scene can easily run smooth on gaming engines you will only need to have a better PC spec then what I have. The PC spec that I have is not good enough for current gen games . If you dont have such PC spec then I am sure your computer will lag . But if you have a better one then It will run smooth like a butter. You can take stand on your point but when you will work on a game that consist of huge map you will understand what I am trying to elaborate.

@@haunteddiary15 bro blender is also counting the later results for subdivision modifier count which I have not even applied to a mesh thats why its showing such polygon count . If I have clear all the modifier then the whole scene will be under 73,473 tris.
@haunteddiary15
@haunteddiary15 3 жыл бұрын
@@SaqibHussain88 Yes, but you were talking about putting it in game engines, and modifiers only work while inside Blender, if you export it to a game engine the export will automatically apply the modifiers and turn it into actual geometry, so when it goes into a game engine it will be 700k tri's, if you remove the modifiers then yes it will be under 70k tri's when exported. But as i already said i had over estimated because of all the props, i thought it was higher than it is, and i apologised for that. It's still not really low poly, but it's not as super high poly as i thought.

That would be because this is not a high poly building in any way shape or form, it's over half a million tri's, low poly for a model of that size and type would be no more than 20 or 30 thousand, not over half a million. Of all the speed models I've seen, this one contains the most information needed to make architecture on an advanced level, and because the video is slow enough, you can slow it down even further to be able to capture every detail needed to learn how to make buildings like this, and buildings in general. The astounding use of the increments when moving the duplicated pieces around, awesome use of the spin tool, along with proper smooth shading and hard edge shading, this is by far one of the best, if not the best, building speed model I've ever seen. Awesome job dude!

It's a great model and really well modelled. Hard to say this is low poly, you've got too many vertices for your curves and circles to really call them low poly as you've made sure there is enough verts to ensure that it smooth but not perfectly smooth, which is a step beyond low poly in my personal opinion. However, low poly can mean a lot of different things to different people so its all really a matter of perspective and intended use.

It can easily be done by just creating a door panel and stairways as separate model . It depends on what you like . You can put a stairway to building's backside which will lead to top panel . And you will just need to replace that modular asset with the door one and thats it you have an access to the second floor.

Don't worry everything will come with time . Just keep learning and try to create your own workflow which suits you the best. I can only advise you some key points before you are attempting to create anything. 1, Do research on whatever you are creating if its a part of this real world then try to spend some time to know about its history,culture,facts etc . 2. Save a ton of reference .References will guide you and with some experience it will also built your muscle memory which will be easy to recall it again. 3. Try to make thing more functional . This will add more to realism and also help you to see and model object differently but easily.
@vikashdenzil

This is pretttttttty damn good model. I would like to clarify this debate of High poly vs low here. This is argueably mid-poly. As Royal Skies LLC says in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6bHcoyFmKtmaJI Mid-Poly is something that isn't high poly, but also no low poly. But it somewhat appears to be high poly. This is because while it doesn't have insanely high polycount to clarify as highpoly, a lot of the high frequency details are taken care of by good texture work. These were usually games from PS2 to early PS3 games. Think Joel's shirt in Last of Us, or Shadow of Collossus's character. Some of the best examples of mid-poly today is technically Hades models. They don't really focus on the polycount for adding geometry detail, but paint those details in textures. I mean, ultimately those models are rendered out as HD Sprites, so polycount doesn't even matter. But still. The above video is definitely worth a watch.

Hey Saqib Great Modeling :) Can you tell me how to make transparent glass material,mine still looks the same as 9:38, though I have followed exact same,and also checked it multiple times...I am using version 2.9
@SaqibHussain88
@SaqibHussain88 3 жыл бұрын
Bro first select the mesh you want to make transparent . Then add a material and apply it to that surface. After that in material tab give zero to .3 roughness and give transmission value to 1. Then under the material setting change blend mode from opaque to alpha hashed. Check screen space reflection under the material .And then give 0.01 value to refraction depth . Then under the render setting check screen space reflection and then check refraction under it and you are done. Make sure to give full white diffuse color if you give it black it will not work properly.
