@TrimbleTeklaDave2 жыл бұрын
Hello, this model is not available for download anywhere, but you can create your own. There is a lot of content available at learn.trimble.com/pages/655/tekla - you'll have to create an account to access the material.

Hello sir, could you please solve my problems , I Cannot delete or modify a part because of locked objects.
@TrimbleTeklaDave4 жыл бұрын
You need to find the locked objects and unlock them, you can try using the 'Locks' button under the manage tab to review the locks in the model and remove them. Note however, that the locks may need to be removed by the user who added them due to security limitations. For better assistance, you should contact your local support: www.tekla.com/contact/offices-and-resellers

The ribbon is to slow
@TrimbleTeklaDave5 жыл бұрын
Hi Vernon - if you use a lot of ribbon commands you can customize the entire thing through the File menu > Settings > Ribbon. You can quite literally build a 'toolbar' style layout with small buttons instead of the current layout. teklastructures.support.tekla.com/video-tutorials/en/customize_ribbon

That is the problem, you are developing Tekla for dummy users to whom it is hard to understand how to deal with view rotation center. Automatic rotation center just like the ribbon and the side pane is for dummies . You guys never worked in a real project, you never had any due date and get ready with hundreds of drawings in a 500t of steel project. You are much worst then useless! You are developing a new, fancy looking software which is harder to use and slower then 5 years ago. Congratulation!
@leesnyder67845 жыл бұрын
Hey Jordan! I'm sorry to hear your frustration. Just to clarify, the view rotation center has been around for years and years so it's not a new feature we just developed but yes we are trying to make Tekla easier to learn/use. We speak with customers all the time who wish they could find/hire trained Tekla users. Unfortunately there simply aren't enough trained Tekla users out there so we are trying to make the software easier to learn to make it easier to on-board more detailers. I also wanted to clarify about who we are. Most of us in technical roles are former detailers so we know all about real projects, deadlines (due dates) and scrubbing hundreds of drawings. I was a detailer for years prior to joining Tekla. Most of the of the projects my company worked on when I was detailing were large casinos in Las Vegas, football stadiums around the US, hospital complexes in heavy seismic zones (California) or commercial complexes. Because those projects were so large our detailing contract for those were usually for a couple of years so I'm very familiar with what you do on a day to day basis. Dave also was a former detailer and he even owned his own detailing company. We are committed to making Tekla a better product because we know what our customers do on a day to day basis because that's what we used to do day in and day out. If you could provide some specifics of how the software is harder to use we would definitely like to work to improve that.

Hi Lee, First of all I am aware that the problem is not because of you or Dave personaly. Secondly, you have already mentioned it. Let us imagine a car factory where the developing team ask people from the jungle how a car should work but they never saw a car at al. My suggestions is that: do not release new version until all issue get fixed, if you fix something do not make an other thing wrong, do not force experienced users to change the way of work, let users choose between real options, do not hide future development goal until that point when it is too late to cancel etc. I know you know all these things and I am not naiv, so you can delete my post. But thanks for your response.
