Modelling is so challenging in this software. Is it possible to import geometry from 3d cads such as inventor?
@ideastatica_en Жыл бұрын
We are supporting the BIM links to many applications, for geometry import, you can use Tekla Structures, Autodesk Revit and Advance Steel www.ideastatica.com/bim-links

Hello, you have to click on some part of the connection. Also, you need an Enhanced version of the license (includes also more analysis types, etc.). www.ideastatica.com/support-center/how-to-create-a-section-view For the Enhanced license type, please contact your reseller: www.ideastatica.com/resellers

Hello Fazil, you can use the general bolt operation, just like in this case from our Sample project gallery www.ideastatica.com/support-center/anchoring-with-cleats However, please consider the following restrictions: www.ideastatica.com/support-center/through-bolts-for-hollow-sections-warning

How to model aluminum bracket fixed to aluminum mullion with hollow bolts?
@ideastatica_en Жыл бұрын
Hello Fazil, unfortunately we dont support aluminum material in our applications. What you can do is to change the material properties of steel, but the code-checks will be still as per steel structure. www.ideastatica.com/support-center/user-defined-material-properties IDEA StatiCa Team

I have 3 models/project in one files. I want to separate solely 1 model and make it an another file. How can I do that? Is there a way to do that? By the way, I'm newbie in Statica.
@ideastatica_en11 ай бұрын
Hey nirvana6440, the straightforward solution to this is to make a copy of the project file, open it and delete the unwanted models/files. If you work with Checkbot, there you can define export of connection models as either 1 file or multiple files: www.ideastatica.com/blog/calculate-all-your-project-items-in-one-go also here some info: www.ideastatica.com/blog/calculate-all-your-project-items-in-one-go

how Idea statica model built up tapered beam and column connection?
@ideastatica_en Жыл бұрын
Hello Sumi, you have to use the stiffening member for the tapered part of the connection - see the example in our Sample projects gallery. Or you can use the template directly in the New project wizard. www.ideastatica.com/support-center/double-haunches www.ideastatica.com/support-center/110-new-connection-templates-in-the-starting-wizard

Hello! Please go trough our Campus course and learn how to model such connections there: www.ideastatica.com/campus Also, you can find similar examples in the Sample models gallery - download and open them and observe how the connection is modeled to reproduce it on your example. www.ideastatica.com/support-center-sample-projects?label=connection&page=2&scroll=true If you struggle, you can also contact our technical support via the User portal: www.ideastatica.com/support-center/how-to-create-a-new-support-case IDEA StatiCa team
