Really like your style of modeling! I almost always see people go with Sub-D modeling, but this method appears to be more easy to manage. Thanks for the knowledge.

Because sub-d modeling is useful for everything in industry. This kind of modeling is useful just for yourself and good renders. Subd modeling is a must for those who work with games, movies, animation etc

I would call this an example of how not to do... who can say what material the kettle is made of? in the form of metal? but there's clearly a thick layer of paint. so why is the painted part and the places from which the paint has peeled off absolutely the same in all their relief properties, reflections... even in terms of color...
