Wow… I hope you're well and still out here. I found your video and it is amazing what a beautiful ship. I happen to own the same ship only mine is not quite as detailed oh no… LOL yeah I wish I had one like yours. But I still have one I am definitely so impressed with ships from this era they were technical masterpieces the most technical thing produced by mankind at this time. Just so amazing thanks for sharing

The painting crew is probably thinking that they want to put this job off as long as possible because they may be thinking, "This thing is top heavy and will probably sink before it gets out to the open sea!"🤣 But seriously, you sure are an excellent craftsman, I could only wish to be any where close to this quality of work. The main reason is, the ship exists and is the only one from 17. century worldwide. Of course you are right it was not seaworthy and if it would not exist any more, nobody would know and built it as a model.

@@u67iringbarth It is a beautiful model and the ship was breathtakingly beautiful. Our ancestors couldn't build any object of pride without gilding it with gold and sculpture. You did good by her. The fact that she didn't have enough ballast at launch was a tad disheartening I suppose. Pinching myself for the euphemism.
