Modeplex ist ein DJ & Produzent aus Süddeutschland der seit vielen Jahren international unterwegs ist und Erfolge feiert. Modeplex, mit bürgerlichem Namen Dave, beschreibt seinen Sound als »Melodic Future Techno«.
Modeplex is a DJ and producer from South-Germany who is since many years internationally active. He calls is sound »Melodic Future Techno« an verges between the fields of Melodic House and Progressive Techno.

Die ewige Zeitschleife des Zeitgeist zieht ihre Kreise im Himmel über Berlin - das Jahr geht zu Ende und »täglich grüßt das Murmeltier«. Schon seit einigen Tagen hat sich unser Kranich in eine Corona-Bedingte Winterpause begeben und ganz abseits neuer Varianten oder pandemischer Wellen entstand der Wunsch einigen unserer liebsten Künstler*innen nochmal eine Bühne zu bieten - wenn auch »nur« digital. Aber auch möchten wir Fokus schaffen, für all die Menschen auf der Welt, denen es besonders schlecht geht. Daher nutzt bitte unsere Spendenliste weiter unten um etwas Gutes zu tun.
Man muss die Feste feiern wie sie fallen sagt man ja so schön, aber als wir uns Anfang Dezember hinter schwarzem Molton auf dem eingeschneiten Kranich zu einer drei Tages Recording Session eigebunkert haben war Niemandem mehr nach feiern zumute - ein neues Gespenst ging um, Omicron genannt und die Fünkchen Hoffnung verglimmten bevor sie richtig Feuer fangen konnten: Tanzverbot, neue Auflagen für kulturelle Veranstaltungen und schlechte Nachrichten noch und nöcher.
Wir haben die Welt drei Tage ausgesperrt, unser »Wohnzimmer« in buntes Licht geflutet und versucht den großen Bogen der Kranich-Kultur von Jazz bis zu Techno in 16 einstündigen Sessions abzubilden um euch ein wenig Licht in die Wohnung und Herzen zu schicken.
Passt auf euch auf - geht sorgsam mit euch und euren Mitmenschen um, haltet zusammen und geniesst eure Feiertage - im kleinen Kreis, mit euren Liebsten.
In diesem Sinne: helft bitte den Menschen, die es besonders hart trefft!

The eternal hyper loops of Zeitgeist are circling above the city of Berlin - the year’s about to end and it feels like »Groundhog Day« all over again. Due to Corona we had to take our beloved Klunkerkranich into a premature and prolonged winter break already a few weeks ago, but still felt the itch to pull off something to support our dearest artists once again - even if we could only do it »digitally«. All of this was planned before any of the recent developments took place, beside new variants and a re-installed »Tanzverbot«, but as we started filming things had escalated once again quite quickly and it felt as things had fallen into place.
We shot the doors on the world, hid ourselves in our »Wohnzimmer« up the roof and recorded sixteen 1h sessions that try to capture the whole spectrum of our Clubs music culture, reaching from Jazz to Techno and beyond. We hope to shine a light into your hearts, minds and houses with these videos in these difficult times.
We like to shine a light as well on all of those who struggle the hardest, due to or besides any pandemic reasons and we would be very happy if all of you would support one of these charities with a little bit or a little more.
