I find it very canned to be honest. Impressively organised but not really a "live" show.

Helena Koursou Certainly that is the case given the prearranged nature of the performance but that does not preclude it from being a wonderful spectacle.

Why must I hide In the forrest of my mind? I want to come Out of the woods. They offer me shade, A face with no name. A game I can play But I can't be dead Meditation, medication I'm eating the hooks that tear me. Meditation, medication I'm eating the hooks that tear me I'm walking back Through lightning and hell To eat the hooks that tear Somehow I'm not scared of this Meditation, medication I'm eating the hooks that tear me Under my skin Lies the world Deep within The cure of my sin The cure of my sin The cure of my sin

Everytime I'm listening to this, a great pain is taking over me. I can't describe it, I don't even get it. I'm feeling peaceful, nostalgic, empty, hopeful, sad, lonely and like this will be the soundtrack to a very special time of my life. Sounds cheesy, but this is so heavy. Sometimes I can't even listen to the song, am kind of afraid to do it. Then I feel this aching, strange mood coming up. Even if it's so exhausting, I come back to this song again and again and I'm being confronted with my deepest thoughts like nothing else could make me feel this way. It's like the melody, the words, all of it is captured somewhere in my soul, heart or whatsoever and listening to it reactivates this mood of me which I am constantly pushing away in my daily life. My fears, who and how I became who I am now, the friends I lost, memories which are slowly fading but not gone. And in the end , I just need it . And I love it. Thanks Moderat.

The music, the rhythm, the pace, the handsome, pure, clean and tender figure of this man...it everything fitted in just one song, piece, elements of my searching for a better tomorrow. I have listened Moderat's other songs, but this one and its video, colour, camera, performance, makes me feel human, emotional, deep and fragile. It remainds me how lonely I feel sometimes, how loved I feel othertimes, how uncertain I get at the end of the day, falling on my bed to dream about life. I regret on spread too much love on the wrong person, but i feel blessed for having once a partner who I loved so much until the death took him from my life. I still wait for a new chance. Start over. Look for my future today.

I think probably because it is pop but not American pop. Euro pop is so different. Well maybe some people would not call this pop but it is built upon very similar rules of pop production. It is probably "too strange" to be considered mainstream.

This will sound like a gross over-exaggeration (who knows, maybe it is), but the first time I heard this song and got to 3:35, I felt the closet thing I've ever had to an out-of-body experience. Just the way the music made me feel like I was transcending reality, and like I was at the emotional climax of an epic story was unlike anything I had felt before, or have felt since. I lack the language proficiency to fully describe what this song does to my mind, but it's incredible, and Moderat is incredible; keep up the phenomenal work, you guys!

I could be wrong but I think the meaning behind these lyrics are about how we can all strive to be our best self; ie: meditate, put mental health first, however it is easier to choose other options such as party, ignore our emotions and not explore them further. Choosing the route of emotional exploration is way harder than the other rout. Just my idea

At first I did not like the visuals, they weighed heavy on my conscious. This song is a master piece, it is a very real experience of someone who has hidden their true self for so long and are in the process of self-discovery, peeling away the flamboyant layers, their false self, which lay heavy and create confusion and distortion of the true self. When you have reached the layer of the true self then and only then can you rise up and become who it is you know was hidden under all those layers all along.
